Corruption is a serious problem that threatens the economy and national security of Indonesia. Eradicating corruption is a top priority to improve the welfare of the people and strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to achieve national goals. The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the application of criminal law in combating corruption in Indonesia. The research method used in this article is descriptive qualitative research, which involves literature review, document analysis, and interviews with several sources related to corruption eradication in Indonesia. The findings of this research indicate that there are still several challenges in the application of criminal law in combating corruption in Indonesia. Bureaucratic reform is an effort to restructure government bureaucracy to provide excellent service to the public. The conclusion of this study is that the Government of Indonesia needs to continue to carry out bureaucratic reforms so that public services become better and corruption can be minimized. Thus, the eradication of corruption can be carried out effectively and increase public trust and national self-esteem.
