There is a general agreement at the conception (theoretical) level about the imperative of a public-private partnership and there are various efforts do it. It is also taken into account the experience of other countries of the European Union or other developed countries able to support and to assist with their previous experience. The Role of Public-Private Partnership Contracts in Tourism Industry Development

Tourism industry is the largest service industry in the world that can bring numerous economic, cultural and social benefits for countries. Tourism development and enjoying the revenues of this industry entails building the facilities needed in which, unfortunately, most governments do not have sufficient expertise and capital. Private sector investment through different patterns of public-private partnership is an effective contractual approach, which provides conditions where both the public and private sectors can proffer their own capabilities to the project in order to maximize efficiency, at the same time that it supplies the project's needed capital. In this study, the approach adopted by some countries regarding public-private partnership contracts in tourism industry and also Iranian regulations have been investigated. It appears that, according to the characteristics of the partnership agreements, in case of the required legal bases being provided, this method has appropriate capabilities for using in tourism projects, particularly in sample areas of tourism.
Public-Private Partnership – a new path for tourism development
The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze a new path for tourism development – public-private partnership, and to expose the advantages deriving from this type of collaboration. As a consequence of global crisis UE promotes PPP’s for regional development, Romania also has changed the law on this partnership, being rather an update of the 2004 law, harmonized with EU directives. Exploring the Conceptual Model of Public Private Partnership for Local Tourism Development

The concept of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) has been accepted as one of viable alternative to promote the infrastructure development. Yet, recently some of government institutions have been applied PPPs for developing local tourism site for their region. The situation is going to be more complex when the PPPs deal with some non-physical attributes and generate several shortcomings. Therefore the need of specific model to cover PPPs as the concept and tourism development as its substance is become essential. This research attempts to explore the model by using a specific review toward the recent literatures and theories. It is conducted by contextual approaches intended to adjust with Indonesian tourism development. The result of this research has described the specific model which is constructed from the series of literature discussion from previous studies. It has designed to minimize the weakness and vulnerable points from PPPs for tourism development.

The development of tourism in emerging economies have been shaped by many factors among which Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) play a key role as they bring together government agencies and the public sector with representatives of the whole tourism value chain under the same goals of promoting socio-economic development, sustainability, job creation and international competitiveness through tourism. PPPs are beyond a developmental tool, but are sometimes essential to stimulate creativity, enhance competitiveness and achieve visionary results which may be difficult if both parties operated in isolation.

The cooperation relationship of tourism institutions in the public, private, and community sectors is a process of pressure from the environment. This process is part of the adoption of institutionalization which usually comes from the public sector to sectors that have close links with surrounding institutions. Because the process of forming an institution is always the same in the institutional setting, the problems that arise are almost always the same in every institution, namely dwelling on the synergy that is not yet optimal, especially how to distribute daily work so as to achieve optimal collaboration between actors in the institution. Likewise, the problems that occur in tourism institutions in the Togean Islands Tourism Destination Area, Central Sulawesi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by interviewing informants who are in tourism managerial institutions in the research location. Over The course of the study a face-to-face interview was conducted with 16 stakeholders. The line of thought of this research is to describe theoretically the design of cooperative social relations in tourism institutions in the tourist destinations of the Togean Islands National Park. The theoretical basis used is adapted from the theoretical framework of sociology. The results of the research are to determine which institutions that are directly involved in the management of tourism destinations and to identify the practice and theory of cooperative social relations in tourism destination institutions in the Togean Islands. This identification is intended as part of an ongoing initial analysis of the importance of social relations in bridging the need for effective management of tourism destinations.

Tourism sector plays an imperative role in developing economies of world. Partnership has become a new financial model of management strategy to take advantage of available resources from different agents for capital investments. This paper serves the objective to find out the benefits of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and its introduction in Tourism sector in Indian economy with help of available research papers in past years. Paper aims to focus on the areas where it has been used as a strategy and to the extent it serves as a successful tool to leverage the available natural and manmade resources for Tourism. The paper discusses cases of agreements between government and the private sector for provisions for public services or infrastructure in Tourism Sector. Government being public sector identifies and provides a framework for developing the economy whereas private sector offers investment, management and workforce. Cases reveal ventures are successful where the participation is part of policy framework and intense and ventures are failure where both government and private bodies share proprietary rights. Thus the paper summaries areas, for both parties to work together with set objectives.
Public Private Partnership: A New Paradigm for promoting Tourism Sector
Tourism has become an important source of income most of the countries of the world. Tourism affects all aspects of a country including business, government services, natural environment, historical assets, religious and cultural values and local residents. Tourism is concerned with the interaction of different sectors like transportation, communication, accommodation, destination and event. Sector cannot be singularly handled by the government. It is require that private sector must be involved in the development and promotion of tourism industry. The present paper examines the PPP (public private partnership) model in Indian tourism industry. The present study is based on secondary data and the data is composed through various journals, studies, websites and publications of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Department of Tourism, Government of India. The PPP model limited to some sectors of tourism and only few states get substantial number of tourism project through PPP model. Introduction Tourism refers to movement of people from one place to other or movement from place where they live or work for pleasure. Tourists are not just travelers on road, railways and airways but they also seeking recreation, companionship, hobbies, social development, personal development, education and much more than that. Tourists are guest for a community. Tourists are temporary part of that community. When we talk about the total number of tourist in a country during a particular time period it involves domestic and foreign tourists. Domestic tourists are the residents of that country and they visit their own country. Foreign tourists are residents of other country who come to visit the given country. Tourism affects all aspects of a country including business, government services, natural environment, historical assets, religious and cultural values and local residents. Over the decade service industry became largest contributor in world GDP. In service sector tourism industry has experience fastest growing economic sector in the world (UNWTO). Travel and tourism industry hold a significant position in the global context on account of its contribution to revenue, employment and investments. In 2013, total contribution of tourism sector was INR 6,631.6 bn to GDP of India that is 6.2% of total GDP. Total contribution of this sector is approximately three times of the direct contribution. In absolute terms, total contribution of travel and tourism sector to GDP of India has 13 th rank in the world but in terms of relative % share, it lack behind and place at 135 th rank. In the same year travel and tourism sector generate 22,320,000 jobs in India that was 4.9 % of total employment. Total foreign tourist arrivals to India grew at about 8.2% between of 2005-10. Foreign exchange earnings grew at higher rate of about 17% in the same period indicating that the average spending per foreign tourist has been increasing year on year (WTTC, 2013). The state
