The development of new and modernization of existing aviation equipment specimens of different classes are accompanied and completed by the complex process of ground and flight tests. This phase of aviation equipment life cycle is implemented by means of organizational and technical systems - running centers. The latter include various proving grounds, measuring complex and systems, aircraft, ships, security and flight control offices, information processing laboratories and many other elements. The system analysis results of development challenges of the automated control systems of aviation equipment tests operations are presented. The automated control systems are in essence an automated data bank.
