This sıudy was carried oul to detamine the effecıs of liquid methionine added lo the hroiler raıions on live weight gain, feed ('onsumption, feed efficiency and carcass yield. A total of 175 daily HuMard hroiler chicks were used in this experiment. They were divided into one canırol group and six treatment groups each containing 25 chick.\'. The experimental period lasted six week.\'. The control ratian ıvas prepared with soybean meal+maize (basal ratian). The rations of the treatment groups were formulated with addition of O./ % liquid methionine (LM), 0.2 90 /_M, 2 % fish meal (FM), 2 % FM+O./ o/c LM, 2 % FM+0.2 % LM and 4 % FM to the basal ratian, respectively. At the end of the study, there were statistically significant dijferences among the groups in live \veight (p<O.Ol). Live weight gain of control group and trealment groups were found as /323.99, /53/.93, /637.5/, /567.74, J678.04, J800.58 and J6 / 5.09 g, re~pectively during six week.\' investigation period. Feed consumption per one kg live weight gain of groups during investigation were detennined as 2.70, 2.33, 2.04, 2.4 /, 2.38, 2.2/ and 2.56 kg, respectively. There were statistically significant dijferences among the groups in carcass weights and yields (p<O.OJ). At the end of the study, it is concluded that live weight gaiıı, feed efficiency aııd carcass yield \-vere positively infiueneed by addition of liquid methionine to the ration.~with or withoutfish meal in broilers.
