The Current Distribution in Electrochemical Systems

Abstract
An electrochemical system consists in general of ionic solutions bounded by electrodes, membranes and insulators (fig. 1.1). At the electrodes electrochemical reactions take place. The flow of electrons in the outer circuit is converted into a flow of ions in the electrolyte.
