Development of Tourist Attractions in Kutri Pekraman Village Bali

This study is inspired by the existence of Bukit Darma Durga Kutri Temple located in Kutri Pekraman Village in Buruan Village, Blahbatuh Sub-regency, Gianyar Regency. Bukit Darma Durga Kutri Temple as an archaeological heritage possesses tourism potentials if it is managed holistically. This study aims to develop a strategy for the development of Kutri Pekraman Village with the tourist attractions that it has in store as a tourist village. This study employs the qualitative paradigm paired with a combination of both the qualitative and qualitative methods (mixed methods) and the SWOT analysis as the data analysis technique. The research method used is a combination of both the quantitative and qualitative methods with the qualitative paradigm as the main approach to the study. As for the sampling, qualitatively the technique used is the purposive sampling technique where there are four informants, and quantitatively the technique used is the total sampling technique where there are 100 respondents from the local residents and 15 foreign tourists. The result of the study indicates that the people of Kutri Pekraman Village in Buruan, Blahbatuh Sub-regency, Gianyar Regency are ready to carry out the development of a tourist village using all tourism potentials that are considered to be very attractive for tourists. The result of the analysis points to the strategy of future tourism development as a tourist village with the approach of alternative tourism (heritage tourism) with Bukit Darma Durga Kutri Temple as the core of the tourism, supported by the rice field areas which are popular among tourists for tracking and cycling activities. This study aims to analyze the potential development of a tourist attraction in Tourism Destinations of Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. This study used qualitative and SWOT analysis. The data source is Head of Tourism, Youth and Sports, the Chief Manager of Tourism Destinations, Community Leaders, and tourists. The techniques of data collection were through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively including reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This paper wants to reveal how the verification process of tourist villages by using a set of instruments elements of tourist villages based on the study of existing legislation and literature. By using the instrument elements of tourism villages, researchers use qualitative methods by conducting holistic, and participatory approaches. This paper explores the tourism potential in Nagari Kamang Hilia, Agam Regency, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia, analyzed from the concept of tourism attraction. As an area granted with the natural beauty, Nagari Kamang Hilia has hills, caves, and forests. Besides, it also has farming land for rice field, cocoa, dragon fruit, orange, durian and cassava. The study used qualitative approach. Data collection is obtained by conducting observation, in depth interview to several related informants and also documentation study. The data is then analyzed by using triangulation, comparing the result of observation, in depth interview and documentation study. The research finding reveals that there are some villages in Nagari Kamang Hilia that have tourism potentials in the form of natural attractions, cultural and artificial attractions to be developed as soft adventure tourism, rural tourism, and cultural and history tourism.

Tourism Development Strategy in Gunung Salak Tourism Village Kecamatan (Sub District) Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten (District) Tabanan Bali -Indonesia

The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of tourism in terms of Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Ancillary Service and to formulate alternative tourism development strategies in Gunung Salak Tourism Village. This research uses descriptive methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches and uses primary and secondary data. Such as collecting data through literature study methods, observation, questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group Discussion, and documentation. The sample in this study is 25 people who were determined by purposive sampling consisting of elements of government / institutional village offices, traditional villages of Gunung Salak, local communities and tourists. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and strategy analysis through SWOT analysis with IFAS (Internal Factors Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factors Analysis Summary) models. The results showed that the IFAS value was 3.23 while the EFAS value of 3.04 placed a general strategy for the development of Gunung Salak Tourism Village, which is located in cell I, which has the characteristics of growth and build (grow and build). Based on the characteristics of these strategies, alternative strategies to support tourism development in Gunung Salak Tourism Village are: development of diversification of tourism products, development of tourism supporting facilities and infrastructure, institutional formation and management of tourism village management through Bumdes supported by professional human resources in the tourism sector and increased community participation, as well as increasing the synergy of cross-sectoral cooperation (government, community, tourism business actors) in developing tourism products, marketing and promoting tourism in Gunung Salak Tourism Village.

This purpose of this paper is to elaborate the understanding of destination development of rural tourism in Wanayasa, Purwakarta, Jawa Barat. It has a rich potential for the rural tourism prosperity. Then author incorporates destination development through Butler‘s Area Life Cycle. Research was conducted in August 2015 with qualitative approaches i.e. interview and focus group discussion to 120 respondents which comprises representation from several different group. The Indonesian government is promoting the development of the potential of villages through the tourism village program, but the formation of a tourism village requires prior study to assess its feasibility as a tourism destination. This study aims to analyze the potential and develop strategies for developing Babahan Village in Tabanan Regency, Bali Province as a culture-based tourism village. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which begins with data collection of tourism potential using SWOT analysis and continued with the IFAS-EFAS method.
