Stoffenmanager® Algorithm Within Version 6 Differs from the Published Algorithm Within Old Versions and TREXMO (original) (raw)

The research investigates discrepancies between exposure estimates produced by the Stoffenmanager® version 6 algorithm and those from the previously published Stoffenmanager version 5.1, which is incorporated into the TREXMO tool. Claims made by Heussen and Hollander (2017) regarding significant differences in exposure estimates are challenged, as the new Stoffenmanager version's algorithms remain unpublished and thus cannot be validated against the TREXMO estimates. Further analysis indicated that differences observed are likely due to updates in the new version, and a potential error in the usage context of one exposure factor in Stoffenmanager version 6 was identified.
