Development of chlorampenicol analytical method UV-VIS spectrophotometry based on the diazotation reaction at cold temperatures has been carried out. In this study, a coupling reaction was carried out between diazonium salt sourced from sulfanilamide and chlorampenicol, diazonium salt was made by reacting sodium nitrite and HCl with sulfanilamide. In the manufacturing process and the coupling reaction between diazonium salt and chlorampenicol was carried out at cold temperatures and the resulting compound was stable at ± 10°C. The compound formed was an azo sulfanilamide-CAP compound and was measured by UV-Vis spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 400,941 nm.

This study aims to analyze the residual chloramphenicol in tiger shrimp (penaeus monodon) using high performance liquid cromatography (hplc). This study produced chloramphenicol residues in tiger shrimp samples (Penaus monodon) which were analyzed using HPLC. Chloramphenicol residual levels in tiger shrimp (Penaus monodon) from the Port of Ocean Fisheries (PPS) Kutaradja amounted to 0.0024634 ppm. It can be said that tiger prawns from PPS Kutaradja are still safe for consumption because they do not pass the BMR set by SNI 01-6366-2000 which is 0.01 ppm.

Determination of chloramphenicol on broiler meat in the traditional market by using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method has been done. The optimal of result determination to obtain, the HPLC system has been optimized for the important parameters are a composition of the mobile phase, injection sample volume, flow rate, and even pH. The result of research shown that the optimum conditions to obtain from the research are a composition of mobile phase methanol: water (80: 20), injection sample volume 5 μL, flow rate 0.5 mL/minute and eluent pH are 6 has been achieved. The analytical performance of the method has been optimized and gives a good performance which shown with reproducibility of this method as the coefficient of variation percentage (% CV) was 0.2198 %, limit of detection was 0.1051 mg/L, and % recovery for the chicken meat sample with 3 different samples more than 95 %. This result showed this method capable of an application for the routine analysis of t...

Misuse of antibiotics has been discovered in shrimp exported from Indonesia, one of them is chloramphenicol, therefore it is necessary to develop methods for chloramphenicol detection. In this study, the chemical sensor for chloramphenicol detection has been developed. The sensor developed by immobilized bovine serum albumin (BSA) onto cellulose acetate membrane. The sensor has linear range of 6-16 μg/ml chloramphenicol with r 0.999 and limit of detection (LOD)-limit of quantification (LOQ) value of 0.74-2.21 μg/ml. The RSD value of repeatability and intermediet precision were 2.41% and 2.31%, where the recovery was 100.29%. Three of the five samples of tiger shrimp on the market containing chloramphenicol at level of 1.03; 2.48; and 3 μg/ml. The result also shown in good agreement with conventional spectrophotometry UV-Vis method. Keywords: shrimp, chloramphenicol, BSA, cellulose acetate

The research about analysis of chlorpyrifos residue in vegetables by using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) technique has been done. To obtain the optimal measurement results, the measurement performed several important parameters in the chromatographic system was composition of mobile phase, volume injection sample, flow rate and pH eluent. Optimum measurement conditions obtained was mobile phase composition (water : methanol) with 70 : 30, volume injection sample are 5 mL, flow rate are 0.5mL/menit and pH eluent are 7. The analytical performance that obtained is good showed with the reproducibility value as percentage coefficient variance (% CV) was 0.0664%, limit of detection (LOD) was 0.44 ppm, with a recovery percentage of > 95%. The results obtained showed the HPLC technique can be used for the routine analysis in the determination of chlorpyrifos for the vegetable samples. Keywords: Chlorpyrifos, Vegetables, HPLC.
A research on the determination of the total flavonoid content of 70% ethanol extract and n-hexane extract of leaves of soursop(Annona muricata L.). The purpose of this study was to determine levels of total flavonoids, contained in soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L). Extraction of chemical constituents from leaves of soursop(Annonamuricata L.) done by maceration method using 70% ethanol. To determine the flavonoid compounds in the sample extracts, compound analysis is carried out using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results were obtained levels of total flavonoids of the soursop leaf (Annona muricata L). Of 70% ethanol extract was 2,82%. And n-hexane extract was 4,48 %. So the total flavonoid content of the extract of soursop leaf (Annona muricata L.) by 7.3% .
