Past, Present and Future of Quantum Computing: A Systematic Study
International Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology, 2021
Quantum Computing is relatively new and it's kind of a special type of computing that uses the laws of quantum physics. In classical computing, we have some limitations and we can overcome those with the help of Quantum Computing as it uses qubits, but we need to keep those qubits at low temperature. Quantum Computing uses the probabilistic nature of electrons. The power of a quantum computer increases exponentially with the number of qubits linked tougher. Quantum computers are very difficult to make but there are a huge number of calculations that can be done easily with the use of a quantum computer. Quantum computers are way better and faster than classical computers. So, we can say that quantum computers rather than quantum computing will be used in the near future to replace classical computing.
AODV Routing Protocol Implementation: Implications for Cybersecurity
Intelligent and Reliable Engineering Systems, 2021
From the current literature, routing protocol can be improved by formulating amechanism to help nodes gain further knowledge of othersinside the network. Without exchanging further message andextra processing burden on nodes, the primary challenge wasto enhance the routing protocol, but always kept an eye onavoiding any alteration to the well-designed routing protocoland trying the best not to cause extra overhead that preventsthe enhancement from achieving its goal. Overall, we canconclude that simulation for MD-AODV shows the correctimplementation of the algorithm and the performance metricresults proves the success of the implementation. Thesimulation result also shows previous two that MD-AODVwill cause a slight increase in route discovery. However, itleads to a better End-to-End delay during data transmission.

The main purpose of this study was to assess the challenges of teaching and learning of computer science in junior secondary schools in Enugu North Local Government Area. Two research question guided the study. It was carried out in Enugu North using survey research design. The population of the study consists of all the junior secondary school students in Enugu North Local Government Area which comprises of 12,570 students in 9 secondary schools in Enugu North Local Government Area (PPSMB, 2017). The sample size for the study consists of two hundred (200) students. The instruments were validated by three experts. The reliability of the instrument was established through a trial- test in public secondary schools in Enugu State. The researchers administered the instruments directly on the respondents and collected them back after they were filled by the respondents. Mean was used in analyzing the data obtained. Findings indicated that teacher based factors that affect the teaching and learning of computer studies in junior secondary schools in Enugu North Local Government Area are poor teaching method by the teacher, lack of proper use of available instructional materials while teaching, lack of improvisation of non-available instructional materials, lack of dedication to duty, and inability to foster good student-teacher relationship are teacher based factors, The possible ways to address the challenges of teaching and learning computers studies include, among others, proper funding of education by government, provision of in-service training programme, seminar and workshop, provision of equipped computer laboratory and provision of standby generators.
Tropical Medicine and Health, 2022
Background: A computer is one of the most widely used office tools. The leading occupational health problem of the twenty-first century is computer vision syndrome (CVS). Research findings across Ethiopia on the magnitude and predictors of CVS among computer users are highly variable and inconsistent. Therefore, this study aimed to estimate the overall prevalence of CVS and its predictors among computer users in Ethiopia. Methods: We searched articles in all databases and other sources. Cochrane Q test statistics and I 2 tests were used. A random-effect meta-analysis model was used. In addition, the association between risk factors and CVS among computer users was examined. Results: Eight eligible studies were included. The pooled prevalence of CVS among computer users in Ethiopia was 73.21% (95% CI 70.32-76.11). Subgroup analysis by profession has shown that the highest prevalence of CVS was observed in bank employees [73.76% (95% CI 70.40-77.13)]. The most common reported symptoms of CVS were blurred vision (34.26%; 95% CI 22.08, 46.43). The previous history of eye disease (95% CI 2.30, 5.47), inappropriate sitting position (95% CI 1.76, 3.22), the frequent use of a computer (95% CI 2.04, 3.60), and using eyeglass/spectacles (95% CI 1.10, 3.91) were significantly associated with CVS among computer users in Ethiopia. Conclusions: According to this study, computer vision syndrome was high among computer users in Ethiopia. Computer vision syndrome (CVS) was significantly associated with a previous history of eye disease, inappropriate sitting position, frequent use of a computer, and the use of spectacles. Based on the findings, it is suggested that efforts be made to optimize computer exposure time. It is also worth noting that employees should be properly seated when using a computer. Furthermore, people with vision problems should be extra cautious when using a computer. Finally, community awareness of the safety precautions that can be taken to reduce CVS is critical.
The Implementations of Technology in Special Education Classrooms Based Project
International Journal of Professional Business Review
Purpose: This qualitative study was conducted to explore the factors that influence the use of technology in special education classrooms. Theoritical Framework: Technology is evolving so fast, that we can’t afford to keep up with it. These technological developments give a new leaf to various aspects of life. Methodology: Respondents were interviewed in three separate sessions and recorded before the thematic analysis was conducted. Findings: This study shows benefit from the emergence of various gadgets that can make teaching and learning more interesting. Nevertheless, there are still teachers who are unable to use technology efficiently in the classroom, especially for special education. This condition is caused by several factors. Implications: The findings of this study are expected to provide an initial overview for subsequent researchers to conduct further studies. Value: Among those affected by this rapid development is the field of education. It can be seen that ...
Comparative Analysis of Methods Used to Extract Speech Signal Features
IJCSMC, 2021
The stage of extracting the features of the speech file is one of the most important stages of building a system for identifying a person through the use of his voice. Accordingly, the choice of the method of extracting speech features is an important process because of its subsequent negative or positive effects on the speech recognition system. In this paper research we will analyze the most popular methods of speech signal features extraction: LPC, Kmeans clustering, WPT decomposition and MLBP methods. These methods will be implemented and tested using various speech files. The amplitude and sampling frequency will be changed to see the affects of changing on the extracted features. Depending on the results of analysis some recommendations will be given.
Using analog computers in today's largest computational challenges
Advances in Radio Science
Analog computers can be revived as a feasible technology platform for low precision, energy efficient and fast computing. We justify this statement by measuring the performance of a modern analog computer and comparing it with that of traditional digital processors. General statements are made about the solution of ordinary and partial differential equations. Computational fluid dynamics are discussed as an example of large scale scientific computing applications. Several models are proposed which demonstrate the benefits of analog and digital-analog hybrid computing.
Language learning and technology: A conceptual analysis of the role assigned to technology
Online Journal of Communication and Media Technologies
As technology advances, the teaching-learning process becomes more robust. In addition to technological possibilities and opportunities, the functions that academics give to technology have an impact on its effective application in the field of education. In this study, it is intended to investigate technologically based studies in the field of English language instruction. The study evaluated research articles published in the journals "Language Learning & Technology" "The Journal of the European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning" and "Computer Assisted Language Learning" in 2020 and 2021 and indexed by the Web of social science. The articles were thematically analyzed. Examined were the study's objective, methods and approaches, technological instruments, and data collection tools. The primary factor is how technology is utilized in the study. Particularly in language education, the role of technology in teaching English as a sec...
