Observables and expectation on Pták’s sum (original) (raw)

Abstract

The sum of a Boolean algebra B and an orthomodular lattice L was described by P. Pták [Demonstr. Math. 19, 349-357 (1986; Zbl 0647.03055)]. Such a structure is now called a Pták sum. Here, some states on Pták sums are shown to be a type of a conditional probability on L. Next, an example of observables on Pták sums is presented.
