Abstract
score given by three experts. Score was recorded in points out of 30. Design of Study: The Correlational design was used for the study. A single group of units of analysis was obtained preferably randomly; each individual was measured on Reaction Ability and Raider’s performance at more or less the same time. Statistical Analysis: To find out the correlation between Raider’s Performance and Reaction Ability, Product Moment Method of Correlation was used. To estimate Raider’s Performance on the basis of Reaction Ability, Linear Regression Equation was established. Conclusions: Significant relationship was found between Raider’s Performance and Reaction Ability. Regression model for estimating Raider’s performance on the basis of Reaction Ability is: RP = 66.978-.435X. Where: RP= Raider’s Performance & X= Reaction Ability. Key words: Raider’s Performance, Reaction Ability Abstract male Kabaddi Player who participated in Inter-University Kabaddi Championship were selected as the subjects for the study. Age of the subjects was ranging from 18 to 25 years. Objectives: The objective of the study was to find out the correlation between Raider’s Performance in Kabaddi and Reaction Ability. The second objective of the study was to establish a regression equation to estimate Raider’s Performance in Kabaddi on the basis of Reaction Ability. Subjects: For the purpose of the study, 30 Variables: Keeping in the mind about specific purpose of the study, Dependent Variable was Raider’s Performance in kabaddi & Independent Variable was Reaction Ability Criterion Measures: Reaction Ability was measured by Ball Reaction Exercise Test and was recorded in Centimeters.
