East Kolaka has launched programs to maintain food availability, but there are still obstacles to its exploitation. This research was conducted to determine the location of the food estate and to analyze its potential in increasing the production of the agricultural and livestock sectors in East Kolaka Regency. The data collection method used is a combination of primary and secondary data collection techniques with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the research results, identified three sub-districts in East Kolaka Regency, namely Lambandia, Aere, and Dangia, as centers for food estate development based on physical conditions such as area size, climate, topography, and land suitability for crop development and grazing locations. Lambandia, Aere, and Dangia sub-districts have a dominant land suitability class S3 which is suitable for various crops but requires high inputs such as fertilization.
