Abstract

This was my M.Phil. thesis at the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto. This study focused on the reflections on the nature of theology presented by the early theologians at Leiden University, including Franciscus Junius, Franciscus Gomarus, Lucas Trelcatius Sr., Lucas Trelcatius Jr., and Jacobus Arminius.
