This study aims to investigate the impact of smartphone addiction on the psychological well-being of school children in post-pandemic. We employ a quantitative approach using survey research design to gather data from a sample of school children between the ages of 10 and 18 years. This empirical study investigates the relationship between smartphone usage, addiction and its psychological effects on school children, by surveying their parents in Bangalore urban and rural areas with a total of 303 parents (127 males and 176 females). Primary data were collected through Google Forms using a structured questionnaire and the collected data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as ANOVA, chi-square, and correlation analysis to establish relationships between smartphone addiction, usage, and psychological effects. The findings reveal a significant correlation between smartphone addiction and its psychological effects on school children.
