Lo político de la naturaleza. Referencias al mundo natural en las Líneas fundamentales de la Filosofía del Derecho de Hegel (original) (raw)
The present article approaches G. W. F. Hegel's Grundlinien der Philosophie des Rechts from a 'cross reading' of the system, which connects this work with the Philosophy of Nature. To this end, I propose a preliminary classification of the references to the Philosophy of Nature in the Grundlinien based on three types of reference: (1) comparisons between nature and spirit; (2) nature as a subject matter of the Philosophy of Right; and 3) the language borrowed from the Philosophy of Nature. By way of exemplification, some references to the Philosophy of Nature are presented according to each of these types. The comparison of objective spirit with nature seeks to make explicit the links of identity and non-identity between the two. Nature as the object of the Philosophy of Law aims to get into the naturalness of spirit, but also into the political of nature. On the other hand, the use of a natural-philosophical language in this context does not refer to nature as such but is an originally logical language that is equally valid for Naturphilosophie and Rechtsphilosophie. The classification and exemplification of the references to the Philosophy of Nature in the Grundlinien allow me to conclude that the second type of reference is the most relevant for a cross reading of Hegel's system through which the two great parts of the Realphilosophie are connected. When nature becomes a legitimate object of the Philosophy of Right one advances, on the one hand, in the understanding of the most natural dimension of objective spirit, while, on the other hand, one becomes aware of the importance of nature for the achievements of spirit in this sphere of objectivity.
