Information plays an important role in human daily life in which it is expected to be more understood, fast, clear and accurate. In line with technology development and the mission of Informatics study program to develop its services for college students, that is, information is derived through information systems and chat. Students in this case is whom study at the university, institution or academy. This study aims to create Chatbot as Virtual Assistant that provides information for college students through data stored on the system which contains Informatics study program and new information if the data is not founded. Implementation of FAQ Pages using Chatbot

A website or an app is a customary way that a business adopts to provide their services to their customer base. However, given the limited storage in the phones, not many users will be willing to download an app to get their queries addressed. Going to company website is also time consuming. In general, when the consumers face issues, they reach out to the customer support. More often than not, it takes a long waiting time to reach the customer service representative. Not to mention, these calls are not always satisfactory. Interacting with customers and retaining those customers becomes difficult for the businesses with a wide audience to cater. Chatbots provide an option that can be used by businesses to address the general queries of the user. These are chat-based software that understand anything user types or says and accordingly replies and takes actions. The recent developments in the field of artificial intelligence have made chatbots more intelligent and adaptable for being a substitute to FAQ pages.

INTELLIGENT CHATBOT FOR UNIVERSITY INFORMATION SYSTEM USING NATURAL LANGUAGE APPROACH

High school students begin applying to university during the senior year or upon completion. This marks the beginning of a complete frustration for students as well as admissions staff. Students have countless questions and problems that need to be answered repeatedly and resolved by the admissions staff. The development of the chatbot was carried out with the aim of solving the problems faced by students interested in enrolling in the university by offering consolidated, authentic and accurate information through a live chat window. In the development, the university Chatbot obtains its knowledge from students frequently asked questions and implement dialogflow as the platform to design the chatbot. Natural language processing is used to create the components required for developing a university chatbot design. The chatbot application implements a search for answers through questions entered from the user. The chatbot is expected to help prospective students register for admission procedures, study programs, and scholarship information. The chatbot will analyse and match categories based on the knowledge that the chatbot has. The goal of this project is to design a chatbot that can be utilized by students on the university's website to get their questions answered quickly and effortlessly.

Design and Development of Chatbot Request System

The Web-based Chatbot Request System is Chatbot system that will handle the requests of the users to process the requested files and documents through an online website. This study will make the process less time consuming and requires minimal effort which will help and benefit the user and the university. The system is designed to handle the request of the end-users via online by making a query. The Web-based chatbot request system currently runs on a free hosting website with two sets of account:(1) the administrator which are intended to be handle by employee who will process the requests, (2) the users account for the students of NEUST. The system has different functions and level of access based on the respective accounts. The system was developed using the Agile Model as the standard development method of the system. The system uses HTML, CSS as its front-end and PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL as its programming language for the back end. Based on the review of IT Experts and end-users, the Web-based chatbot request system obtained a rating of 3.54 with a qualitative description of highly effective.

AI and Web-Based Interactive College Enquiry Chatbot

A chatbot is often described as the most advanced and promising expression of interaction between humans and machines. These digital assistants streamline the interactions between people and services with less human interaction. This is proved as to be a boon during the COVID-19 pandemic when people could no longer visit information desks to get their queries answered. Admission season is arguably the busiest time for a college office. Concerned parents flock the enquiry desks with inquiries about the college. These questions are repetitive and one can use a virtual agent for these doubts which would free the office personnel to handle other issues. This paper proposes a college enquiry chatbot based on Python's chatbot framework, Rasa. Rasa is an open source chatbot framework based on machine learning. With its help, one can easily create highly accurate chatbots and integrate them with websites and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, etc. The proposed chatbot could handle manually typed as well as rich responses generated by clicking on a payload. It could be integrated with the college website by adding a widget and deployed as on the messaging application, Telegram.

In this research paper, "Chatbot for Student Admission Enquiry" we describe about the software/tools used in it. We are using Rasa NLP, we have used dialogflow to make interaction with chatbot and also the NLP toolkit. This chatbot was developed using Machine Learning Algorithms. The proposed concept is to create a chatbot that communicates in a human-like manner, giving the user the impression that he is conversing with another human being. Chatbot application allows students to obtain college-related information from anywhere and at any time. Students will only have to choose a department query category, and the quarries will be sent to the bot that will be used to engage. Students can ask questions about admissions, faculty information, and so on. This system decreases the amount of work that the college administration has to do in giving information to students, as well as the amount of work that the staff has to do in answering all of the students' questions.

Conversational agents, also known as chatbots, are automated systems for engaging in two-way dialogue with human users. Nowadays the use of Chatbots is very popular in a large scale of applications especially in systems that provide an intelligence support to the user. In fact, to speed up the assistance, in many cases, these systems are equipped with Chatbots that can interpret the user questions and provide the right answers, in a fast and correct way. Chatbots typically provide a text-based user interface, allowing the user to type commands and receive text as well as text to speech response. When chat bot technology is integrated with popular web services it can be utilized securely by an even larger audience. The student information chat bot will analyzes user's queries and understand user's message for appropriate response generation. This System will be a web application which provides answer to the query of the student very effectively. Students just have to put their query to the bot which is used for chatting. The system will use the algorithms to give appropriate answers to the user. If the answer is found invalid, then there is an option to report to admin so that the users query will be satisfied. These invalid questions can be deleted or modified by the admin of the system and an appropriate answer can be embedded in the database. The student will not have to go to the college for enquiring something. Student can use the chat bot to get the answers to their queries.
