In human life there is certainly no escape from suffering, and it is divided into individual or mass suffering. James firmly asserted that patience in suffering is the key to coping with it. Textual analysis has found that patience, firmness, perseverance, durability, and perseverance are necessary factors for the believer in the face of suffering. The purpose of this study is to show that the hearts and actions of believers in the face of suffering as a family of practical theological studies, as the urgenics that suffering is unavoidable in the lives of believers and understand the meaning of poverty in Indonesia. Whatever this research is using qualitative research methods to work the hermeneutic analysis of the text, and the results of the observation are divided into the subchapter and are described as findings from James 5:7-11.
