Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrisipkan (1) kesulitan belajar yang ditunjukkan dari proses pembelajaran matematika dan ( 2) kesulitan belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dari hasil belajar matematika (THB) siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Tambak. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan purposive sampling. Siswa dikelompokan ke dalam tiga kategori prestasi belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penggumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. This study aims to describe students' mathematics learning outcomes through online learning for the 2019/2020 academic year on the subject of flat-sided space geometry. This descriptive study was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Paguyaman involving 28 students of class VIII as a sample selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were tests in the form of multiple-choice questions and student response questionnaires. The results of the research that refer to the cognitive domain of the revised Bloom taxonomy by Anderson and Krathwohl show that the C1 cognitive domain is remembering, the ability of students to remember, recognize or know a concept of the material being asked in the questions given an average of 77.36% is in a good category. Analisis Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun subjek yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa kelas IX di salah satu SMP Negeri Karawang Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa tes uraian kemampuan penalaran matematis yang diberikan sebanyak 4 butir soal. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan tes uraian yang dilakukan yaitu kategori cukup sebanyak 2 siswa pada interval skor dengan persentase 12,5%; kategori rendah sebanyak 3 siswa pada interval skor dengan persentase 18,75%; dan kategori sangat rendah sebanyak 11 siswa pada interval skor dengan persentase 68,75%. This preliminary study aims to analyze the mastery of mathematical communication skills of class VIII students in junior high school in Bandung regency of triangular and rectangular flat building material. In this preliminary study, the research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with 5 students of class VIII as a sample and research instruments used are 5 items about the instrument of mathematical communication ability. Based on the observations made on 5 students it is found that mastery of mathematical communication skills owned by grade VIII students in one junior high school in Bandung Regency is still relatively low.

This classroom action research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the building materials of flat sides through learning based on the Edutainment approach. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 254 Jakarta . The subjects of the study were students of class VIII-3 SMP Negeri 254 Jakarta, which consisted of 36 students, consisting of 20 male students and 16 female students. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kurt Lewin model through four stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection consisting of three cycles. Based on the results of research that has been done can be concluded that the average value of student learning outcomes before action is 59.33 with the percentage of KKM achievement of 22.22%. The average of students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I was 70.22 with the percentage of KKM achievement of 69.44%. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. The population taken by the researcher is students from class IX in one of the public schools in Bandung Regency, and the sample in this study were 22 student of class IX-H at the same school. The data collection method use in this study was a test description method with a test containing 8 question which were arranged based on the cognitive bloom level. The results of the test are processed by measuring the percentage of each category indicator in the level of difficulty, namely the very high, hight, quite high, low and very low categories. The results of the study indicate that the difficulties faced by students in answering the flat-sided geometry material are: (a) students have a lot of difficulties in understanding the basic concepts of building space. (b) students still find it difficult to determine which formula should be used and students have difficulty understanding the meaning of the problem. (c) not analyzing the command of the question properly.

In this study the authors analyze about the difficulties students in the process of mathematical understanding ability and to determine the level of category of mathematical disposition on each item statement. Based on the analysis, the mistakes made by students in doing the mathematical understanding problems on the material on the flat side room on the indicator of applying the concept or problem-solving algorithm only reached 21% and the average percentage of students' mathematical understanding ability is 39%. The question instruments used are questions that have been tested for reliability, validity, differentiation and difficulty indexes have also been validated by expert validators. The mathematical disposition of junior high school students on the material of the flat side room is 49%.
