Zoneamento Ecológico Do Estado De Sergipe: Contribuições Para O Planejamento Do Meio Ambiente (original) (raw)
2016, Interfaces Científicas
Landscape Ecology investigates the heterogeneity of patterns and relations of perceptible processes. Few studies show the information related to modeling spatial water in the state of Sergipe. The objective was to discover and distinguish the most important segments of the landscape. Research was based on the major rivers by which, dots and lines are designed with mapped watersheds. Similarities and heterogeneities of the structures were interconnected and reveal five space segment composed of rivers and outlined regional basins. With overlapping maps, six categories of ecological limits were revealed as landscape segments. The structural result is a strong input for the ecological awareness, because their spatial measures can serve as references in regional terms for Planning Units (PU). The ecological segments are key compartments for integrated understanding, since they are related to the interaction between the characteristics and trends of the natural landscape. The state of Sergipe confirms limits of ecology based on physiographic features.
