This short essay reflects on the pedagogical practices that emerged from the collective course “Cross-Currents Lab: Ocean as Myth and Method.” The course was team-taught in the Spring of 2022 by Luis Francia, Jordana Mendelson, Lee Xie, Emilie Tumale, Mariko Whitenack, and me.
