BASIS SECTOR IN THE ECONOMIC STRUCTURE OF BADUNG REGENCY, BALI, INDONESIA, Indonesia
Badung is one of the tourism development centers in Bali with prominent tourism destinations are Kuta, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. The development of tourism in Badung regency is rapidly causing inequality of regional development between north and south and the imbalance of development between economic sectors. So it is necessary to analyze the basis sectors in accordance with the potential of north and central region. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basis sectors in the economic structure of Badung Regency and to track the causative factors the change of the role of agriculture sub-sector using Shift Share analysis method. This study uses secondary data in the form of data of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) 2011-2016, like GRDP and Badung and Bali, and Growth rate GRDP. Data collection methods used was documentation method and data analyze using Static Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), and Shift Share. The results of analysis showed that the basis sectors in economic structure of Badung Regency is water supply, waste, and recycling sector, construction sector, transportation and warehousing sector, and accommodation and feeding supply sector. The agricultural sub-sector has three sub-sub-sectors that are able to become the basis sub-subsector in the future are food crop sub-sub-sectors, horticultural crops sub-subsector, and fishery sub-sector. Two factors causing the change of agriculture, forestry and fishery sub-sector positions in the economic structure of Badung Regency, namely economic structure and location factor.

Successful of regional development is inseparable from region ability in exploring and developing its economic potential. Economic potential is dynamic according to the conditions. Aims of this study is to find out Badung regency economic potential in 2011-2018. Data comes from Central Bureau of Statistics of Bali province and Badung regency, using location quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, Klassen Typology and Shift Share method. Result of this analysis is Badung regency has economic potential to be developed into a locomotive of regional development in the real estate sector that has become the base sector, superior, and due to its location, then followed by the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sectors that have become the base sector, developing, and due to its location. This sector needs to be supported by synergistic policies in order to provide multiplier effect in other sectors.
The Mining and Quarrying sectors, which dominates almost 30 percent of the Tanah Laut's economic structure, is experiencing a slowdown in economic growth and has resulted in an increase in the percentage of poor people in Tanah Laut District over the past five years. Agricultural Sector which occupies second position in Tanah Laut Regency economy is expected to be the driving force of the economy and reduce the poverty rate. Agricultural-based economic development is one way to drive the economy in Tanah Laut Regency. This study aims to identify and analyze the agricultural subsector that can be superior in driving the economy of Tanah Laut Regency. Research location in Tanah Laut Regency with research time from November 2017 until May 2018. The data used in this research is secondary data during 2001-2016 obtained from BPS-Statistics Indonesia. Analyzer used is area potential analysis by calculating Location Quotient index and Shift Share Index. The results showed that the sub-sectors having comparative advantages from Location Quotient analysis were livestock sub-sector, agriculture and hunting service sub-sector, forestry sub-sector and logging and fishery sub-sector. While the sub-sectors that have competitive advantage from Shift Share analysis are fishery sub-sector, food crop sub-sector, livestock sub-sector and agriculture service sub-sector. The leading sub-sectors are the sub-sectors that have comparative and competitive advantages such as livestock sub-sector, agriculture service sub-sector and fishery sub-sector.

Development of economic is a must for a region, even though the region is classified as prosperous and prosperous. Bantaeng Regency, one of the regencys in South Sulawesi Province, has some potential economy sectors to be developed. In order to know those potential economy sectors, one of the economy analysis which can be used is the Location Quotient analysis. In this research, the analysis will use Static Location Quotient (SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ). Central Sulawesi's agricultural sector is classified as a substantial sector. This study aims to identify the existence of the agricultural sector in the economic structure of Central Sulawesi. Data analysis used Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), and Shift Share Analysis methods. The data used is based from the Central Statistics Agency for Central Sulawesi and Indonesia in 2015-2020 based on constant prices. The results showed that the agricultural sector of Central Sulawesi was classified as the base sector with the highest average LQ value and was followed by the mining and quarrying sector. Meanwhile, the results of the DLQ analysis show that the agricultural sector is threatened with repositioning in the future. The combined analysis of LQ and DLQ indicates that the agricultural sector in Central Sulawesi is on a basic non-prospective. Economic growth is one important indicator that is generally used to measure the success of a region's development. It can also reflect the economic development of a region from year to year. The changes in economic growth can be derived from the shifts of its driving sectors. This study aimed to identify and to analyze the leading sectors in the economy of Kaimana Regency. Using 2010 as the base year, this study analyzed the data of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of both Kaimana Regency and Papua Barat Province in the period from 2010 to 2015. Shiftshare analysis, Static Location Quotient (SLQ), and Dinamic Location Quotient (DLQ) were methods applied to indicate changes in each sector, as well as to determine which sectors were potential sectors and leading sectors in the Kaimana Regency economy. The results showed that, between 2010 and 2015, Kaimana Regency have not had a notably leading sector in its economy. However, there were several sectors that can be emerged as potential sectors, which are expected to grow faster in the following years. These sectors included 1) agriculture, forestry and fishery; 2) electricity and gas; 3) construction; 4) trade, wholesale, retail and automotive reparations; 5) accommodation and food services; 6) information and communication; 7) public administration, defence, and compulsory social activity; and 8) other services.

Economic growth is an important aspect that reflects the success of a country or region’s economic development. The changes of its driving sectors mainly influence the changes in economic growth. This study aims to identify the leading economic sectors and analyze the sectoral shifts of the Teluk Bintuni regency’s economy. The data used in this study is the Gross Regional Domestic Product of both Teluk Bintuni Regency and Papua Barat province in the period from 2010 to 2018. In determining the leading sectors and analyzing the sector using Location Quotient and Shift-Share analysis. The results suggested that the manufacturing and mining, and quarrying sectors were the base sectors of Teluk Bintuni’s economy. Economic activity area will be difficult to be realized in the absence of economic growth in the region is quite high. Fluctuations in economic growth in real terms from year to year, is presented in the form of GDP is grouped in 17 (seventeen) sectors of the economy. The GDP is calculated at Current Market Prices (ADHB) is assessed by the price of the relevant year, and Upper Constant Prices of 2010 (ADHK 2010) is assessed based on the price in 2010. To realize economic development through with limited resources as a consequence have to be focused on the development of sectors that impact multiplier (multiplier effect) significantly to other sectors or the economy as a whole. This study aims to determine the superior sector Tebing Tinggi city's economy as information and consideration in development planning. This study uses secondary data time series (time series) of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) Dairi and North Sumatra province in 2010-2020. The analytical tool used in this study, the analysis Klassen Typology, Location Quotient (LQ) and shift share analysis.The results of Klassens typology analysis show that the main economic sectors are the electricity and gas procurement sector; the water supply sector; waste management, waste and recycling, and the wholesale and retail trade sector; car and motorcycle repair. Location Quotient analysis results show that there are 12 (twelve) basic sectors (LQ > 1), namely the electricity and gas procurement sector; water supply sector; waste management, waste and recycling, construction sector; wholesale and retail trade sector; car repair and motorcycles, transportation and warehousing sector; accommodation and food and drink supply sector; information and communication sektor; financial and insurance services sector, real estate sector; government administration sector; defense and compulsory social security, education services sector; health services sector and social activities and other service sectors. The results of the Shift Share analysis show that there are 4 (four) sectors that are competitive or have competitiveness or have a positive differential shift value, namely the electricity and gas procurement sector; the water supply sector; waste management, waste and recycling, the wholesale trade sector and retail, car and motorcycle repair, and the transportation and warehousing sector.

This study aims to determine the shifting economic structure and find out the leading sektors in Soppeng Regency in 2013-2017. The type of research used is quantitative research.
