This study aims to determine the challenges of the As-Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Pulo Air Sukabumi during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis masalah yang dihadapi oleh pondok-pondok pesantren yang ada di Kota Seberang Jambi dan peran aktif mereka berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan tujuan pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala pesantren, guru, dan pengelola yang bekerja di dua Pesantren di Kota Seberang, Jambi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan teknik diskusi kelompok. Hasil observasi disajikan secara deskriptif. Analisis data hasil wawancara dimulai dengan mentranskrip hasil, melakukan pengecekan ulang, menghilangkan bagian yang tidak diperlukan, dan mengodifikasi hasil untuk dijadikan tema-tema.
