The main aim of this report is to identify and describe the idea of digital leadership. For the study, the effects of digital leaders' traits and experience on the digitalization process will be examined. Different multinational and global businesses have been examined to apply the concept of digital leadership to their businesses. In this paper, with the goal of an organizational literature review, we analyze the concept of digital leadership. The paper seeks to identify the digital leadership concept; to analyze these abilities and their impacts deeply in the new digital age. As a result of detailed literature research, digitalization and technological developments lead businesses to transform organizational structures, processes, business models, and strategies. Digital leadership is crucial for organizations to survive in the new digital era by adapting and transforming business strategies. To accomplish business objectives and successfully drive the digital business transformation, digital leaders use and enhance the company's digital assets. Digital leaders have different abilities and perspectives compared to traditional leaders. However, many organizations do not understand digital leaders' value, leading to poor performance and unrecoverable failures. This research paper demonstrates a strong link between digital leadership and corporate success and productivity, following the analysis and clarification of the digital leadership concept generated in the modern age and the review of variable business strategies and positioning of the leadership concept in different sectors.
The Role of Digital Leadership Mediated by Digital Skill inImproving Organizational Performance

Objective-The main objective is to examine the role of digital leadership mediated by digital skill in improving organizational performance in line with digital transformation efforts within the General Election Commission of North Sulawesi. Design/methodology-The sample used in this study amounted to 78 people who are elements of the commissioner and secretariat of the General Election Commission of North Sulawesi Province. Testing the relationship between variables and hypotheses was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. Results-Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that Digital Leadership has a significant effect on Organization Performance and Digital Skills. Meanwhile, Digital Skill has a positive effect on Organizational Performance but does not have a significant effect. The indirect relationship between Digital Leadership and Organizational Performance through Digital Skills does not have a significant effect. Research limitations/implications-This study concludes that the role of digital leadership has a major influence on improving organizational performance in the era of digital transformation. The era of technology 4.0 requires leaders to develop their digital skills in utilizing technology to face the development of information technology in organizations. Novelty/Originality-The originality of this research lies in the object of research where previous studies have only analyzed the digital transformation process in the private sector but the public sector namely the government has not been carried out.

Information Technology (IT) enables challenges and opportunities for how enterprises organize themselves and how work unfolds in digital settings. The changes in technology, work, organizations, and humans’ mindset, call for new ways to discuss leadership. In these new digital settings, traditional leadership no longer holds. Instead, new forms of digital leadership are needed. In this paper we review the IS research perspective on digital leadership. We conduct a systematic literature review combined with a hermeneutical approach. We compare the findings from our literature review with a theoretical lens inspired by e-leadership. We find that IS research has an exclusive scope on strategic implications, leaving out topics such as followership and emotions. On the other hand, IS research contributes with exactly these issues of strategic leadership and business transformation to the digital leadership discussion. Digital Leadership is a leadership style that focuses on implementing digital transformation within an organization. It enables enterprises to digitize their work environments and learning cultures. As such, it is a critical component of the literature for maintaining the competitiveness and survival of organizations in the twenty-first century. By reviewing secondary sources, a conceptual framework for digital leadership was developed; the value of digital leadership was discussed and studies on the qualities of digital leaders were described. The following questions were posed: "What is digital leadership?" "What are the attributes of a digital leader?" and "How important is a digital leader?" As a result of this research, a digital leader is defined as a leader who has innovative ideas on a digital level, motivates his employees in a digital environment, is capable of establishing sustainable communication with his employees in a digital environment and developing digital strategies.

Digital Transformation: The Gap Between Digital Leadership and Business Performance

We are currently dealing with the challenges of a digital economy as well as a digital transformation. Furthermore, digital technologies are reshaping traditional business strategy and also transforming the structure of social relationships for both the consumer and the enterprise. However, we still do not have an in-depth discussion on what skills and abilities are required for leading the digital transformation process can help organizations to cope with these new challenges. So, the objective of the research in progress is to show how we are developing a study to answer the research question "what the skills are required of digital leaders to improve business performance in a digital transformation process. Our research is expected to make several contributions, bringing some initial results from the qualitative part of the study and presenting the next steps which will be empirically tested soon. The practical value of this research rests on demonstrating the impact of digital leadership on business performance, considering the context of digital transformation in Brazilian Enterprises.

Method: This research method is a quantitative survey, data analysis using partial least squares (PLS) structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software tools. Data was obtained by distributing online questionnaires via social media. The questionnaire was designed using statements with a Likert scale of 1 to 7. The respondents of this study were 350 SMEs owners in Indonesia who were determined through simple random sampling. The analysis stages are validity test, reliability test and significance test. The research is conducted to study the outcome of digital leadership on dynamic capabilities, innovation capabilities, and alliances capabilities in manufacturing industries within the Malaysian context. Today, developing corporations and industries, at the least, require a virtual transformation to have greater organizational abilities in shaping and growing their new and present commercial enterprise to healthy the brand-new generation paradigm. A cross-sectional quantitative method has been used in this study with a sample of 132 respondents with different industry back grounds. These respondents are organizations, which are based on the nature of a business role like authorized representative, distributor, importer, manufacturer, combination authorized representative, distributor and importer, and combination distributor and importer that located in Selangor, Malaysia. The research used the SMART PLS software to analyze and interpret the results. There main hypotheses are proposed and tested. The results showed that digital leadership positively affects dynamic capabilities, innovation capabilities, and alliances capabilities.
