Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan tepung daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum Walp), daun pepaya (Carica papaya), atau daun katuk ( Sauropus androgynus) dalam ransum yang disuplementasi Starpig untuk meningkatkan kualitas daging itik bali afkir. Rancangan yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas tiga ulangan dan setiap ulangan berisi tiga ekor itik bali afkir dengan umur dan berat yang homogen. Keempat perlakuan tersebut adalah: Ransum tanpa daun pepaya, daun salam, daun katuk, dan Starpig (perlakuan A), ransum yang mengandung daun pepaya 10% dan Starpig 1% (perlakuan B), ransum yang mengandung daun salam 10% dan Starpig 1% (perlakuan C), ransum yang mengandung daun katuk 10% dan Starpig 1% (perlakuan D). ABSTRACTAnemia is one of the major nutritional problems in Asia, including Indonesia. According to Rikesdas 2018 data, anemia in young women (27.2%) is higher than in young men (20.3%). Background:The examination of sperm quality is the main priority for infertility diagnosis. Based on previous study with mice, active ingredient of Mucuna pruriens L. or koro benguk (Papilionaceae), the L-dopa, mav affect the quality of spermatozoa. Objective: Research was to study the effect of 96% ethanol fraction Mucuna pruriens seed on spermatozoa quality of mice exposed to 2-Methoxy ethanol. L-dopa in 96% ethanol fraction of M. pruriens seed was 14.7%. Methode: This was an experimental study using complete randomized design. Subjects were BALB/C mice (Mus musculus). Five groups served as control, 3 groups received subcutaneos injection of2-ME as much as 100 mg/kg.bw/day for 12 days, followed with 96% ethanol fraction Mucuna pruriens seed starting from 14 mg/kg.bw/day, 28 mg/kg.bw/day, and 56 mg/kg.bw/day for 51 days. The forestry and plantation sectors till now, the mass supply of seeds still using polybags made from plastic. The purpose of the study was to examine the physical characteristics and test the organic pots based on waste from galam skin and water hyacinth as well as to find out the best basic ingredients for making organic pots. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The results of organic pot testing for water content ranged from 4.2133 – 6.033%, all treatments met the SNI standard 03-2105-2006 (<14%). The range of water absorption values is 97.9981 – 176.2218% and the SNI 03-2105-2006 standard does not require water absorption values. Density values ranged from 0.3584 – 0.8767 gr/cm3, A, C, D, E treatments were included in the SNI 03-2105-2006 standard. Hiperurisemia menyebabkan stres oksidatif yang mendasari timbulnya berbagai penyakit degeneratif, termasuk kerusakan ginjal. Penggunaan jangka panjang obat terpilih untuk hiperurisemia, yaitu allopurinol mempunyai efek samping yang berbahaya. Kulit salak (Salacca zalacca) diduga memiliki efek anti-stres oksidatif. Malondialdehida (MDA) telah banyak digunakan sebagai biomarker pengukuran kadar radikal bebas pada kondisi stres oksidatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pemberian ekstrak etanol kulit salak terhadap kadar MDA dan gambaran histopatologis ginjal tikus putih hiperurisemik. This study aims to improve the quality of sheep sperm using an additional feed of snail flour (Achatina fulica) which can increase the use value and economic value.
