Background: Based on the many cases that have been encountered regarding mothers who lack knowledge about toilet training which causes a lack of skills for mothers in training children aged 2-3 years to defecate and urinate on the toilet independently even though this is critical for early childhood, it is wrong One thing that is effectively done to increase mothers' knowledge about toilet training is by educating mothers on video modeling methods. Purpose: This case study was to determine the effect of applying education using the video modeling method to improve mothers' skills in toilet training children aged 2-3 years in the working area of the Kota Timur Health Center, Gorontalo City. Methods: This research method is qualitative research with a case study approach. Giving modeling videos 3 times for 3 consecutive days, in 1 giveaway there are 2 times the video is shown. The criteria taken were 4 mother respondents who had children aged 2-3 years. This case study was conducted by observing 4 respondents whether there were differences in the level of mothers' skills before and after the educational intervention using the video modeling method. Results: the four research subjects showed increased skills in toilet training. The first subject progressed from less skilled to moderately skilled. In subjects 1, 2, and 3 increased from quite skilled to skilled. Conclusion: based on the results of the case studies that have been carried out, it can be concluded that educational modeling video methods can improve mothers' skills in toilet training children
