This aim of this study is to describe about management of career guidance programs in Yogyakarta Special Region Vocational High Schools at the ASEAN Economic Community era. This was a quantitative descriptive study supported by qualitative data with survey methods. The subjects of this study were 8 school headmasters, 8 guidance and counselling coordinators, 38 guidance and counseling counselors, 87 light vehicle engineering teachers and 194 grade XII students. The research data was obtained from an open questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics with qualitative data as supporting data. The results showed: Management of career guidance programs in State Vocational High Schools of Yogyakarta Special Region included in the medium category with 55.80%. Career Guidance Advocacy Program and The Grade 10 Completers’ Career Choice

Upon entering senior high school, students choose a career track. School counselors/designates through the career guidance advocacy activities play a vital role in student's readiness for related career decision. With this, the study determined the extent of implementation of the Career Guidance Advocacy Program and its relation to the actual career choice of the Senior High School students. A descriptive correlational research design using documentary data was utilized and conducted in 60 selected public secondary schools in the Division of Bohol which involved 1,200 Grade 11&12 students enrolled in school year 2019-2020; with 60 guidance counselors/designates and 60 homeroom advisers. The instrument used were adapted and modified by the researcher based on the guidelines stipulated in Enhance Basic Education Act of 2013; DepEd Order No. 41, series of 2015, and Developing for National Standard for School Counseling in the Philippines questionnaire by Clemeña 2010. The result showed that educational qualification, job description, years of experience, lack of training and resources and time constrained affect the conduct of the career guidance activities. For the actual choice of the students, the majority were not able to follow the NCAE result due to a lot of intervening factors. The test of correlation revealed that the career guidance activities did not directly relate with the choices of the students. Hence, areas for enhancement of the career guidance advocacy program were put forward.

This study aims to determine the process of implementing career guidance services based on life skills and to determine whether the services provided have an effect on or not after providing career guidance services based on life skills on career planning for students at State Vocational High School 6 Palembang. The research method is a quasi experimental design. The population of the study is the entire class XI TBB and a sample of 10 students at State Vocational High School 6 Palembang and the sampling in this study is by using simple purposive. The results of the study show that t count > t table = 4.14 > 1.83. This shows that career guidance services based on life skills affect the ability of career planning. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the comparison of the pre-test and posttest results, it showed the influence of the implementation of career guidance services based on life skills on the ability of career planning for students of class XI TBB at State Vocational High School 6 Palembang.

School has to guarantee the effective development of career competencies, which are necessary to consciously and successfully create and manage your career and, respecting student's inclinations, values and abilities, to help him cognise himself, the activity world, and to choose future career. It is important to make conditions for all students to develop their career competencies, to support them in the process of cognising, creating and realising themselves. Career education is a common team work, the success of which is possible if most of the school employees contribute to career competence development, various school activities, oriented to students' personality maturity help students as well to acquire and develop the competencies necessary for successful career. In the research, it was referred to an attitude that career education is a systematic and purposeful process, by which it is helped the student to make a career choice and to acquire career competencies. The research object was-career education in general education schools. The research aim was-to ascertain teachers' attitude to career education in general education schools. In the research, a survey strategy was applied. Descriptive statistics procedure was applied for calculation of frequencies and comparing of averages. It was a pilot research. The research took place in Klaipėda city municipality general education schools in 2017. In the research, the teachers from 100 general education schools took part. The survey was carried out online. Using "Google forms" device, the questionnaire was presented to school teachers. The research results revealed that education process was very intensive, there was a lack of time for carrying out career education activities, lack of consistency, financing, not in all schools career education programme was prepared, there was lack of efficiency, there were not enough career education programmes, methodological devices, there was lack of all school community involvement in career education organisation and social partner help for career education activity implementation outside the school. Research results showed that carrying out career education activities was problematic.
Career Guidance in Career Planning among Secondary School Students

Career choice is one of the key decisions among student's life. Correct decision will give success in their professional life. The study objective is to determine role of career guidance in professional career choice among secondary school students in Karachi, Pakistan. It's a Cross sectional study and 489 participants were selected through simple random sampling. Structured and Validated questionnaire were used. Chi square test and logistic regression were used to determine the association of career guidance in career planning. Mean age and standard deviation of participants were 17.13 ±1.29. Most of males (46% and 27%) seeking assistant for education related and career counseling respectively and after adjusting covariates revealed that male's gender, students scored high grades and high education level of parents were more likely OR 2.33 OR 2.05 and OR 1.99 respectively) to seeking assistance from counselors in career guidance, while students with lower educational aspirations were least likely (OR 0.78) to seek counselors for career planning. Study found that male students and parent's education level were important role in career guidance seeking. There is need for awareness of career guidance through workshops, seminars and media for promoting career guidance among students.

The research is aimed to develop and examine the feasibility of Hypothetical Model of Guidance And Counseling Career Program Based Social Class of Vocational High School Information and Communication Technology At Tangerang. The program is developed to increase the capacity perceived by the students in choosing an occupation despite constrains. The research instrument used to measure students' performance appraisal is work volition scale-student version. The research method uses Research and Development (RnD). The research step is limited up to eight steps, consists of planning and doing learning formative evaluation. The research result of guidance and counseling carrier area program based social class of vocational high school information and technology at Tangerang has examined by guidance and counseling experts with total score 30 or in the category of good. The research conclusion of guidance and counseling carrier area program is feasible to be used. It can be seen from the components mostly in the category of good. It indicates that guidance and counseling carrier area program has feasibility in component program which aimed in making the program to be reached.
