Abstract

A 70-year-old woman with signs of acute heart failure was referred to our emergency department. She had no cardiac history. The ECG on admission (Fig. 1, left panel) demonstrated interatrial conduction delay with a broad biphasic Pwave (200 ms) and a third degree AV block.
