Higher education accreditation held by the National Accreditation Board (BAN-PT) is one of the parameters in determining the quality of higher education institution in Indonesia. The quality of study-program or department in higher education institution are based on an the assessment of various evidence and documents that are in accordance with the standards provided by BAN-PT; namely self-evaluation and accreditation forms. For the accreditation process, study-program or department in university need to prepare the accreditation forms and reports on their performance over the past 3 to 5 years. Mostly, all data is spread in other information system and different physical documents that require more time and effort to integrate until they are tried. A System for Assessment of Students Performance at College of Computers and Information Technology, Taif University

It is very important to find an automated method to assess and evaluate the students' performance in each curriculum. In this paper, the general framework of a system, fully automated, to collect and assess the student's outcomes is presented. The main goal is to automate the data collection and analysis process. Also, the system is designed to represent a repository of the assessment data, programs information and all manuals related to the assessment process details and the system itself. The system was able to reduce the manual work to the be minimal and enabled the instructors and different committee to access the assessment and evaluation data for the current and previous years.

A Tool for Course Outcome Attainment

Data mining is an innovative approach for teaching and learning process in education. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is outcome based learning education. Faculty has to measure and assess the CO and PO attainment with respect to a number of direct and indirect tools, where a lot of clerical errands get involved. The assessment may get troubled due to the time constraints and various other activities. There is no such active system which will reduce these efforts. Our tool atomizes it. Through the Knowledge based tool for PO attainment we can reduce the intricacy in PO attainment process of NBA. Mainly the Knowledge based tool is used to reduce the clerical work of faculty in the assessment. In the given system classification algorithm and Bloom's taxonomy is used in mapping COs with POs .This system helps us to appraise mapping between COs and POs for each subject with the help of direct and indirect measures.

Accreditation is a process of comprehensive assessment of eligibility of a unit or an educational program on the path to formal education and non formal education and type of every level, the result embodied in the form of a certificate recognition and ranking eligibility issued by an appropriate agency Ministerial Regulation No. 32 Year 2016 of Akreditiasi courses and colleges. During this difficult accreditation assessment identified against which instruments were already good and which is less, so the determination results of accreditation skoring there is still a random value that is spread across several instruments of assessment. This research is designed to help course in preparing the accreditation of study programs making it easy to see the results of assessment, both of which have a high value and low. Applications developed with prototyping development approach. External accreditation applications research is used to help the preparation of accreditation in accordance with the quality standard of BAN PT.

CUBRAS: Design And Implementation Of The Course Unit Based Results Analysis System

With the introduction of the course unit system in the state universities, students' evaluation process has been transformed into a highly complicated task. In order to evaluate students' results it is required to check several requirements such as number of credits, compulsory courses, prerequisites and minimum grade point average. Additionally this task needs to be completed quickly and efficiently. This paper presents an information system developed to achieve this task. Salient features of the system include evaluation of students' results to decide whether students are eligible for a particular degree, for special degree programmes and for honours. Additionally, the system facilitates the online registration of students and automatic transcript generation. The system developed was tested with randomly selected student results. The test results indicated that the system functions accurately and efficiently.

ESSU CCS ATGG: Eastern Samar State University College of Computer Studies Automated Teacher’s Grading Guide

The study ESSU CCS ATTG (Eastern Samar State University College of Computer Studies Automated Teacher’s Grading Guide) aims to develop a desktop application which will serve as locally networked examination tool for ESSU students. The software can be a repository of student grades in different classroom activities specifically quizzes, major exams, class participation and major exams. Another feature of the software is it is capable of computing student final grades and send the result to a mobile phone number registered in the system for each student. Also, the software is capable for retrieving, editing and deleting stored data and can store new data. Innovative program and course outcomes' assessment tools

This paper describes in details innovative course outcomes' assessment tools used by the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University. A course outcomes' assessment program, developed in house, is used to evaluate the contributions of a given course, training, or any other item in the curriculum to the design, delivery and achievement of program outcomes. The program is an Excel Workbook which includes many sheets for input, calculation, and analysis and interpretation of student scores in relation to preset assessment tools outcome standards. For instance student scores for activities such as the final exam are fed in where the relevance of the final exam questions to the course outcomes is also entered. Upon input of all the course activities in the data entry sheets the students' final grades and reports on the assessment of individual activities are generated automatically. Reports showing results of course outcomes' assessments and degree of outcomes achievements are also generated automatically based on student performance (scores) in the specific course outcomes.

The Central aspect of outcome based education (OBE) is basically the assessment of the outcomes of the courses. When the question arises about the implementation of OBE at its initial stage the course outcomes for every course are based on the program outcomes (POs) and its requirements. At the completion of every course the course outcomes (Cos) requires to be evaluated and assessment is required using any tool such as examination, quiz, presentation, MCQ etc. to verify and check that it is being attained or GAP analysis is identified. This research paper definitely opens new ways and describe the methods and background which must be used to evaluate or accessed the attainment of Course outcomes and results assessed for overall management/administrative courses in business administration. In this paper the assessment was done for management programs for post-graduation with the strength of 240 students. This paper uses data that has been procured from students attained marks in practical, theory, presentation, quiz, assignments and MCQ for transforming them into professional persons which can be acumen in the societies. To expedite this analytical process the method of computerized system using excel sheets has been introduced. The findings of this research are then used for the minimizing the GAPs and improve the continuous quality of the students.
