The concept 'Library user', is turning to the shape as 'library customers'. To find out those customers' needs and expectations, library needs to take measurement of satisfaction level. To check that measurement library has to conduct a user survey with their expectation of requirement and based on service given by library. This paper presents the analysis of a user survey conducted in MPSTME library. Primary data on library users' satisfaction experience was collected through a structured questionnaire. The population of the study consists of students of MPSTME Library.

Academic libraries must provide various services and facilities for users to motivate them to use the library. The general objective of this study was to determine the users' satisfaction with information resources and services provided to all the staff and students in Smt. Hansa Mehta Library, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Gujarat, India. Some related literature review was put in place in this study. The study adopted the survey method and the population in this study covers the staff and students of Smt. Hansa Mehta Library. A random sampling technique was adopted in this research work. The questionnaire was structured (close ended) and the analysis was carried out by using simple descriptive statistics, results presented in tables, simple percentages and frequencies computed for the data analysis. The findings suggest many librarians should improve their collections and services to complement users' needs and also increase patronage to the library.
User Satisfaction with Library Resources, Services and Facilities: A Study

This study is an investigation of use of user’s satisfaction in library facilities, resources and services of the students of C. S. Bembalagi Arts, SHA. M. R. Palaresha Science and G. L. Rathi Commerce College Library, Ramdurg. 200 questionnaires were distributed among students to collect relevant data and 170 received back. The findings of the study shows that 70 (41.18%) of respondents have the habit to visit to the library daily, majority 95 (55.88%) of respondents are highly satisfied with the collection of general books, majority 90 (52.94%) are satisfied with collection of text books 95 (53.3%) respondents considered circulation services as excellent. The study suggested that college library should carry out user studies at regular intervals and user guidance is necessary to help library users to meet their information needs and make users aware of the available library resources and services.

The study carried out to find the user satisfaction level of the library services and resources provided by IIT Guwahati Central library. Therefore the study focused on the services and library and resource provide by the library. For the collection data a well-structured questionnaire has been designed and distributed among the students. From the analyzed data it is found that majority of the users are satisfied with the library services like lending service, photocopying service, opening hours, physical facility, OPAC and also satisfied with the book and e-resource collections. A few suggestions have been made on the basis of the results.
User Satisfaction on the Use of Kendriya Vidyalaya Libraries of Guwahati, India: A pilot study

The present study is a pilot study of the user satisfaction in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Libraries of Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. The users of a school library generally are the students and the teaching and non-teaching staff of the Vidyalaya. A survey method was adopted for the collection of data and to address the research problem. KV libraries are well equipped with both human constituent and bibliographical constituent. The KV libraries are rendering some services and this paper is concentrated on the satisfaction of the users in the services provided by the library authority. A total number of 84 questionnaires have been distributed amongst the users categorizing in them students and teachers. The users have given some suggestions to increase the user satisfaction level to a new height in the limelight of a KV.

The present study examines the user satisfaction of library resources and services in Krishnadas Shama Goa state central Library. Structured questionnaires were distributed among 200 users to collect their opinions regarding the frequency and purpose of their visit to the library. 160 questionnaires were received and analyzed. The study highlights the opinion of respondents about the available resources, facilities, and services in the library. In this study, it was found that the majority of the respondents are satisfied with the resources and services in the library. The study concludes that the library needs to integrate training program for library users as well as staff for effective utilization of resources and services. There is also need to take Regular feedback from visitors and library members.

This study aimed at investigating the Effect of Library Services on the User Satisfaction at Pwani University Library. This research was guided by the value expectancy theory (VET) that was proposed by Martin Fishbein in 1970. The research design employed in this study was mixed methods. The key informants for the study were the library staff. The population of this study comprised of lecturers and students of Pwani University. This study used both probability and non-probability sampling techniques namely stratified sampling, simple random sampling, purposive as well as convenience sampling. The study sample comprised of 265 study participants. Data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedule. Data was analyzed descriptively using Statistical Package Social Sciences version 22. Qualitative data was analyzed and presented thematically. Use and user's satisfaction in library resources and services: A study in Tezpur University (India)

This study is an investigation of use of library resources, user's satisfaction in library resources and services and information seeking behaviors of the students and research scholars of Tezpur University. 200 questionnaires were distributed among students and research scholars of Tezpur University to collect relevant data. 79.5%(159) library users responded where 32.07%(51) respondents visited Central library, Tezpur University everyday for borrowing library books. It is found that 82.39%(131) users borrowed text books, (79.87%)(127) consulted journals and 75.47%(120) read news papers to meet their information needs. Library is playing vital role to meet multidimensional demands of students, and research scholar for information and knowledge. It is felt that user guidance is necessary to help library users to meet their information needs and make users aware of the available library resources and services.

In the present knowledge era, the library is considered an important center and is the heart of any academic institute. A successful organization is one whose users are satisfied from the provided facilities. In this study, the researcher studies the user satisfaction from library resources and services at Government Degree College Sabir Abad (Karak) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A survey method was used. The researchers personally visited the population site and distributed 155 questionnaires to the respondents of which 135 were responded to and received (87% response rate). The analysis shows that enrolment of students in the college in BA and B.Sc programs is less as compare to F.A & F.Sc. It was also founded that some of the posts of faculty members were vacant in the college including one post of a professional librarian. From the results, it was concluded that most of the users visit the library on weekly and monthly basis rather than daily basis and most of the users were not satisfied with the power supply, daily newspapers, and environment in the library. It is suggested that there is a dire need to update the library collection and improve their services.
User Satisfaction Survey of Public Library: A Study of Liaquat Memorial Library, Karachi, Pakistan
Users are the significant component of any library. The identification and fulfillment of their needs and to meet their satisfaction are the objectives any library. Since the role of public libraries in rendering such goals is difficult to deny. This paper mainly focuses on the services provided by Liaquat Memorial library and satisfaction level of these services from user's perspective. The study focuses to help the librarians, information managers and the management in identifying the potential users of library as well as their information needs. It also help in making it clear how to perform relevant duties and serving the best possible way to satisfy their ultimate users attaining their satisfaction level and by diminishing the unsatisfactory elements of library. The study thus designed a Descriptive Survey and applied random Sampling Technique over 300 users of library. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data, where 250 questionnaires were received from respondents. Descriptive statistical methods were used to analyze the data where tables with Frequencies and Percentages are represented along with. It was discovered by the study that the library is playing vital role at some extend but many areas need to be revised to meet the expectation and intellectual needs of society.
