Rule-Based Domain-Specific Modeling for E-Government Service Transactions

There is an explosion of different software platforms and protocols used to achieve systems interoperation. Among those platforms are the e-government transactions systems used mainly by public sector organizations to deliver demanded services to citizens. This scenario brings the appearance of communications gap among public organizations that share common processes, services, and regulations. Therefore, to find a solution to integrate these platforms becomes a relevant issue to be treated. This chapter proposes a rule-based domain-specific modeling environment for public services and process integration formed by common public service elements and a set of process integration rules. This approach provides a mechanism to integrate the conforming pieces of public transactions among different platforms. Choreography for Interoperability in the e- Government Applications

In these recent years, the interoperability of e-Government applications has been an extremely important research and development ICT domain to facilitate the seamless exchange of information across public and private sectors department of government. Many researchers and practitioners have focused on the adaptation and design of Government Interoperability Frameworks to do a form of relationship in the E-Government implementations. The major elements relevant to E-Government interoperability are conformance and compliance and there are a large number of Government applications that are available through the web, but it is difficult to automate interoperation because of the heterogeneity in developing these E-Government applications, the heterogeneous platforms on which the applications run, the complexity of web interface that is not machine-friendly and the Non-standard format used for data input/output. In this paper web services and business process engines have been developed as a standard XML-based model for message exchange between heterogeneous applications by using a web services choreography language to remedy these problems.

Documents submitted by citizens through electronic services deployed in the context of e-Government must usually undergo processing by some organisational information system, in order to complete the citizens' requests and for the reply to be returned to the citizen. The integration, however, of the e-service delivery platform and the organisational information system is often hindered for a number of reasons, including security considerations, platform diversity or idiosyncrasies of legacy information systems. In this paper we present a generic method for providing seamless communication between the two platforms, enabling the full integration of documents submitted through electronic services into the organisational workflow, leveraging thus the quality of services offered to the citizens and facilitating e-service development and operation.

According to the Population, overcrowded, and required governmental services growth, require an improvement of system and data services, because of the spatial information increase, sharing, issuing and dissecting plays a more essential part. One-stop open administrations and single window frameworks are essential objectives of numerous e-government activities. Instructions to encourage the specialized and information interoperability among the frameworks in diverse government organizations is a key of meeting these objectives. While numerous product principles, there are many techniques used to integrate government for Web Services like XML, OWL, UBL, CCTS, RDF and Jason have been used to address the integration and interoperability between diverse government, the information interoperability and integration issue stays to be a major test. The data integration and interoperability concern how distinctive gatherings concur on what data to trade, and the definition and representation of such data. To address this issue, XML (eXtensible Markup Language) Schema Design and Management Guide has been discharged and additionally the Registry of Data Standards under its e-Government Interoperability Framework activity. The aim of this work is to improve accessibility and connectivity of governmental services for citizens and by means of creating integrated scenarios and providing guidance to users while following this scenario.
Interoperability in e-Government Services
This thesis focuses on service delivery and interoperability in e-Government. In this domain [54][19], for Public Administrations (PAs) is very important to have reliable service-oriented systems centered on information with an high level of trust and security to delivery high-value services to citizens, firms and other PAs. This thesis would to contribute to the design of such systems. Today innovation in the government sector is a mandatory element for a clear achievement of the information society.
E-Government offers a new electronic channel by means of which citizens and government ministries can interact with one another, unconstrained by the locations and schedules; and thereby improving government effectiveness. However, realizing this vision is strictly depending on the ability of diverse computing systems owned and managed by different government ministries to be able to interact together across all ministerial boundaries. This ability is known as e-government interoperability.
A NEW INTEROPERABILITY FRAMEWORK FOR E-GOVERNMENT SERVICES
This paper presents an Interoperability Framework, based on Web Services technology, which allows improving government-citizen and government-business interactions by supplying a single access point for e-government services. The proposed Framework represents a new kind of cooperation based on an application level that goes beyond the usual interoperability services. The paper describes the prototypal framework, built on open standards, and finally presents a sample application (Tourism Promotion Web Site) as an experimental result.
