El ensayo según Montaigne como parte de la investigación científica (original) (raw)

A reflection is made on the essay as a component of scientific research from the work of Michel de Montaigne, and relationships with Edgar Morin's complex thought are incorporated. The methodology of the philosophical essay is used. Some characteristics of the essay are its openness, non-systematicity, freedom of forms, and risk. The essay is the essence of philosophy, and vice versa. The essay invites us to glimpse the thought process, enables the truth of our impression, still ignorant, to be able to express what is thought. From the complex thought point of view, the essay reconciles the object and the subject, bridges the disciplinary boundaries between philosophy and literature. Paradoxically, it consists of an introduction, a body and a conclusion, like the traditional writing, but it is a free literary genre. The essay helps research as writing is done through reading, recursively. The gnoseology of the essay is idealistic, and allows the being to be perceived. A good essay writer is somebody who, thanks to introspection, can be self-perceived in his own thought. From the essay technique, instructions are provided to achieve a philosophical essay and an epistemological essay. The essay is the genre most likely to express the interested party's thought, combining the imagination at the beginning of science.
