Almost every student experiences stress during his or her academic career. Academic stress has several health-related implications and has an impact on study and learning ability. The present study aimed to analyze the association between stress and educational performance of university students. Psychological, bodily, and behavioral difficulties are common because of such stress. Correlation research design was applied to achieve the objectives of this stud. Total 296 students were selected randomly from three departments (Education, Chemistry and English) of the Islamia University Bahawalpur. For the accomplishment of current study’s objectives, data was collected via using a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS. Academic performance and perceived stress among university students

This study aims to investigate the effect of factor such as perceived stress on the academic performance of the students. A sample of 199 university graduates and undergraduates in Rawalpindi and Islamabad was selected as a statistical frame. Instrumentation used for this study is previously validated construct in order to evaluate the effect of factor under study. To determine the relationships between perceived stress and academic performance, correlation coefficient was calculated. Perceived stress was found to have significant negative correlation with academic performance of students. Moreover, the mean stress score among low academic achiever versus high academic achiever as well as low stress level and high stress level group were found to differ significantly. However, stress level among male and female students do not differ significantly whereas engineering students differ significantly from management sciences students based on the perceived stress score. Course load, sleep problem and social activities were the major source of stress affecting academic performance of the students. In nutshell, perceived stress was found important factor that needs university administration, faculty and parent's focus on effective psychoanalysis services along with stress management programs that could be useful for achieving academic success.
Effect of Perceived Academic Stress on Students' Performance
Current study explored the effect of academic stress on students' performance and the impact of demographic variables like gender, age and educational level. A sample of one hundred and fifty students was taken from different universities located in Islamabad. Seventy-five respondents were males and the remaining seventy-five were females. The results showed significant effect of academic stress on student's performance. There was a non-significant difference between male and female university students on scores on the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). A significant difference between junior and senior students was found on the PSS. Academic stress was found to be higher in younger students than older students. There was a non-significant difference on PSS scores among students when stress was measured at the beginning and at the end of the semester.
Exploring The Impact Of Stressor On Academic Performance Among Higher Education Students

Stress is a prevalent component in every individual's life, irrespective of race or cultural background. In the education line, many students experience stress during their academic years. It might have a favourable or negative impact on academic performance. Thus, this research is intended to look into the correlation between stress and academic performance among Higher Education Institutions students. The research also attempts to investigate each source of stress that affecting academic performance. A quantitative method in a form of a questionnaire has been used to collect and analyse the data using PLS-SEM software. The sample includes 284 students from different Higher Education Institutions in Selangor. The findings show that the relationship factor has the greatest impact on academic performance, followed by the factor body, mind, and feelings, campus life, and finally financial factors. Therefore, it is recommended for students to maintain a simple, relaxing study environment that is free from any disorganisation and disruption is one approach to lessen the amount of stress that students endure. On the other hand, practising optimism and optimistic thinking can also improve student's health, relationships, and academic performance.

An Assessment of Academic Stress among Students of Bachelor's Level
Stress can have an impact on a student's academic performance which can be both positive and negative depending on its severity. Minimal level of stress can lead to positive outcomes such as motivation and improved task performance while severe stress can result in anxiety, depression, social dysfunction and even suicidal intention. Gender role and academic disciplines are two of many possible stressors for students. Level of academic stress of 100 students (M 19.9 years SD 1.2) studying BBS and BASW in three different private colleges of Kathmandu was measured using Scale for Assessing Academic Stress. Participants scored 14.18 in average (SD=4.01). There was no significant difference in level of academic stress between students from BBS and students from BASW t(98)= 1.43, p = 0.156 , and there was no significant difference in level of academic stress between male students and female students t(98) = 1.40, p= 0.166. Role of social, psychological, academic, and cultural factors as stressors are discussed.
A Study on Academic Stress among Higher Secondary Students
Stress can exist when working at a fast place, doing difficult problems, or listening to someone shout at you. It can be brought about through conflicts, making decisions, or otherwise straining abilities, or it can exist because of numerous social demands on time. We have noted that emotional states tend not to be long lasting, whether they are unpleasant emotions like fear, or pleasant ones, such as joy. Yet on occasion such states may persist for long periods of time, or they may reach excessively high levels. When this happens, the result typically is labeled \"stress\", and its manifestated in psychological as well as physiological terms. Stress and its manifestations, such as anxiety, depression, and burnout, have always were as a common problem among people in different professions and occupations. In the last few decades, alarm has already been provoked by the proliferation of books, research reports, popular articles and the growing number of organized workshops, aiming to teach people how to cope with this phenomenon. The purpose of the study is to find out the level of academic stress among higher secondary students. The present study consists of 250 XI standard students studying in higher secondary schools situated in Namakkal District of Tamil Nadu, India. The sample was selected by using simple random sampling technique. The present study reveals that the higher secondary students are having moderate level of academic stress and irrespective of sub samples of the higher secondary students are having moderate level of academic stress. The male student\'s academic stress is higher than female students. The urban student\'s academic stress is higher than rural student. The Government school student\'s academic stress is less than private school student. The science subject student\'s academic stress is higher than arts student. The students whose parent\'s education as literate level academic stress is higher than their counter part.
Effect of Academic Stress on Academic Achievement of College Students

This study aims to investigate the effect of academic stress on college students' achievement and the difference in stress level of male and female students. One hundred and fifty undergraduate students, between the age ranges 18-22 years, participated in the study. Seventy five were male students and remaining seventy five were female students. Academic stress scale was used to measure the stress level and students' marks in last exams were taken as measure of academic achievement. The students scoring above 55% of marks were taken in high achiever group and students scoring below 55% of mark were taken in low achiever group. Statistical analyses were conducted to analyze the obtained data. The results revealed the significant effect of academic stress on students' achievement. Academic Stress and its Sources among University Students
Stress has become part of students' academic life due to the various internal and external expectations placed upon their shoulders. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable to the problems associated with academic stress as transitions occur at an individual and social level. It therefore, becomes imperative to understand the sources and impact of academic stress in order to derive adequate and efficient intervention strategies. The study employed a quantitative research design where participants were screened using Academic Stress Scale (Rajendran& Kaliappan,1991 from four streams namely, commerce, management, humanities, and basic sciences. The five dimensions of sources such as personal inadequacy, fear of failure, interpersonal difficulties with teachers, teacher pupil relationship and inadequate study facilities were further analysed and gender differences were also obtained. Understanding the sources of stress would facilitate the development of effective counselling modules and intervention strategies by school psychologists and counsellors in order to help students alleviate stress.
Academic Stress of Undergraduate University Students and Measures for Amelioration
Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It plays an important role in wellbeing of human beings. Today we face stress in each and every part of our lives, right from our student life at school and college till our old age. The college student from biotechnology and other field related to biology come to the S. S. Hospital and Research Institute, Patna for partially fulfillment of their training program. In this case study, the stress of trainees who come from different universities and educational institutes of Bihar to S.S. Hospital and Research Institute, Patna was measured. The data regarding the quality of work of student submitted at different time periods were analyzed and the case were assessed. It was found that both B.Sc. 2nd and B. Sc. Final year students suffered from stress. The work was followed by some questions which helped to analyze the main reason for the stress to complete the training program. It was observed that the students suffered from different types of stress that was educational, personal, financial, future settlements and health issue..
