Weak suitable solutions for 3D MHD equations for intermittent initial data
arXiv: Analysis of PDEs, 2020
In this note, we extend some recent results on the local and global existence of solutions for 3D magneto-hydrodynamics equations to the more general setting of the intermittent initial data, which is characterized through a local Morrey space. This large initial data space was also exhibit in a contemporary work [3] in the context of 3D Navier-Stokes equations.
The Cauchy problem for the magneto-hydrodynamic system
We study the uniqueness and regularity of Leray-Hopf's weak solutions for the MHD equations with dissipation and resistance in different frameworks. Using different kinds of spacetime estimates in conjunction with the Littlewood-Paley-Bony decomposition, we present some general criteria of uniqueness and regularity of weak solutions to the MHD system, and prove the uniqueness and regularity criterion in the framework of mixed space-time Besov spaces by applying Tao's trichotomy method.

We present new interior regularity criteria for suitable weak solutions of the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in terms of the velocity field. The result means that the velocity field plays a more important role than the magnetic field in the local regularity theory of the MHD equations. This also gives a positive answer to the problem proposed by Kang and Lee in [J.
Regularity for Suitable Weak Solutions to the Navier-Stokes Equations in Critical Morrey Spaces
2006
A class of sufficient conditions of local regularity for suitable weak solutions to the nonstationary three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are discussed. The corresponding results are formulated in terms of functionals which are invariant with respect to the Navier-Stokes equations scaling. The famous Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg condition is contained in that class as a particular case.
Weak Solutions for Navier–Stokes Equations with Initial Data in Weighted L^2$$ Spaces
Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, 2020
We show the existence of global weak solutions of the 3D Navier-Stokes equations with initial velocity in the weighted spaces L 2 wγ , where w γ (x) = (1 + |x|) −γ and 0 < γ ≤ 2, using new energy controls. As application we give a new proof of the existence of global weak discretely self-similar solutions of the 3D Navier-Stokes equations for discretely self-similar initial velocities which are locally square integrable.
