Abstract

The vast bulk of studies examining reproductive behaviour, intentions and outcomes focus on women and couples. There are very few studies exploring men’s desire for fatherhood – reflecting the myths that men are not concerned about reproducing and are fully fertile from puberty until death. The aim of this study was to evaluate the level of the desire for parenthood (broodiness) in childless men compared to childless women, fathers, and mothers. Guide to the eight poster tiles. 1.
