Admissible Almost Type Z-Contractions and Fixed Point Results
International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2020
In this paper, we introduce a new concept of α-admissible almost type Z-contraction and prove some fixed point results for this new class of contractions in the context of complete metric spaces. The presented results generalize and unify several existing results in the literature.
Abstract and Applied Analysis, 2021
In this paper, we introduce an almost generalized α-admissible Z-contraction with the help of a simulation function and study fixed point results in the setting of partially ordered b-metric spaces. The presented results generalize and unify several related fixed point results in the existing literature. Finally, we verify our results by using two examples. Moreover, one of our fixed point results is applied to guarantee the existence of a solution of an integral equation.
Fixed point results of various cyclic contractions in metric spaces
2018
In this paper, we introduce various cyclic contractions, namely φ-cyclic contractive mapping, almost Geraghty cyclic contraction mapping and almost ψ-cyclic contraction mapping. We prove the existence of fixed points of these maps in complete metric spaces. We draw some corollaries and provide examples in support of our results. Our results generalize the results of Kirk, Srinivasan and Veeramani [12].
Fixed Points for \(\alpha,\beta\)-Admissible Mappings via Simulation Functions
Communications in Mathematics and Applications, 2021
In this paper, by using the concept of (α, β)-admissible mappings with respect to Z-contraction, we prove some fixed point results in complete metric-like spaces. Our results generalize and extend several well-known results on literature. An example is given to support the obtained results.
A Note on Extended Z-Contraction
Mathematics, 2020
In this article, we aim to evaluate and merge the as-scattered-as-possible results in fixed point theory from a general framework. In particular, we considered a common fixed point theorem via extended Z-contraction with respect to ψ -simulation function over an auxiliary function ξ in the setting of b-metric space. We investigated both the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points of such mappings. We used an example to illustrate the main result observed. Our main results cover several existing results in the corresponding literature.
