EnglishFrom an industrial heritage located in an important avenue of the city of Pelotas / RS, it was built a memory inventory. The heritage in question is LANEIRA BRASILEIRA S.A., a wool-processing factory that worked from 1949 to its bankruptcy decreed in 2003. Nowadays, this industrial remnant belongs to UFPel that purchased it in 2010, and since 2013, it has taken part in the inventories’ list of the city. Laneira is considered an exemplar industrial heritage, so the factory memories inventory was built based methodologically on the inventory proposed by IPHAN in the “Programa mais Educacao”.
