آمریکا باید رویکردش را نسبت به رژیم ایران تغییر دهد
ایالات متحده به یک تغییر رویکرد بنیادی نسبت به رژیم ایران نیاز دارد. واشینگتن باید مفروضات دیرینه خود در قبال تهران را بازبینی کند و آنها را به طور اساسی مورد بازنگری قرار دهد. امتیاز دادن اسلامگرایان را آرام نمی‌کند، بلکه آنها را جسور می‌کند تا هرج و مرج را افزایش دهند. مساله دیگر فقط ایران و خاورمیانه هم نیست. کشورهای غربی به طرزی فزاینده تحت تأثیر مداخله اسلامگرایان در ساز و کارهای سیاسی و اجتماعی قرار گرفته‌اند.

Security and development are two crucial issues for governments in the current world, thus, scholars have made lots of theoretical efforts to explain the relationship between them. Establishing this relationship is difficult in developing countries like Iran, due to the dominancy of security approaches and priorities over development. Considering the importance of the issue, in this study, we have examined the impact of security discourses on development plans in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The main question of the research is how national security discourses have influenced development plans in the Islamic Republic of Iran. In response to this question, it is emphasized that the contradiction between identity-based security discourse and developmental-based security discourse has caused inconsistency in the content and lack of achievement to the goals of the development plans in the Islamic Republic of Iran. To examine this hypothesis, by using discourse analysis method and through the historical and theoretical reviews, we first attempted to identify identity-based and developmental-based security discourses and the attitudes toward them. In the next step, by analyzing the content of development plans and considering their performance, we have shown that the reason for not achieving the goals of development plans was the contradiction between the security discourses.
