Creativity is one of the elements that forms a bridge to materialize the imaginary to the real world. The design is a sample of the possibilities of metaphorical language, where the signs can assume different meanings before the eye of the beholder inviting you to free your mind, often cast in classical reading formulas. The designer makes use of shapes, colors, proportions, representation plans to get its message that may or may not be identified by which contemplates them as this has its own way of seeing and some of their references and experience to interpret what he sees . This versa article on the imaginative look of the first manifestations of graphic narratives left by artists in the caves still in a past tense, in order to approach the subjectivity of these rock craftsmen and their way of visual communication. The act of communicating with symbols, is a construction of our graphic identity, calls for a careful look at these ancestors, traditions and values, and allow today wend landscapes and remote memories, not superficiality more of our symbolic origins, originating from these heritages people, who also have their historical adventures in the difficult art to survive and evolve as a human being, that legacy makes up a valuable storehouse of information and narrative imagery yet to be explored. The methodology was based on analysis of a drawing, supposedly a birthing scene, found at the archaeological site located in the municipality of Iraquara Chapada Diamantina in Bahia. The analysis of the elements of the scene, the colors and the dimensions of the characters beyond this subjectivity in the precise choice of the design of the site are real elements open to interpretation able to identify ambiguities and this symbolic languages that sign. The result leads to a reflection about the role of being female as a symbol of fertility, generating and guardian of life. This representation is present in most cultures and can be associated metaphorically to mother earth. The location of the drawing on the panel in relation to the elements of the cave symbolizes the uterine cavity, playing similar roles in relation to the cavity of the cave, just like the uterus houses and protects those who inhabit them.
