Un nuevo registro de Cyperus para México

Se registra por primera vez para la flora de México a Cyperus gardneri Nees y se incluyen datos sobre su distribución. ABSTRACT Cyperus gardneri Nees is reported for the first time for the flora of Mexico and some additional data on its distribution are included.

Nuevo Registro Estatal y de Hospedero Para Euphoria iridescens en México

The presence of Euphoria iridescens is recorded for the first time in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The new record is based on five specimens (two males and three females) collected at four sites in the Central Valleys region of Oaxaca. Also, E. iridescens is documented for the first time feeding on the fruits of Ficus carica. Additionally, a map of the distribution of E. iridescens in Mexico is presented.

Nuevos registros de Pleosporales (Ascomycota) para México

Resumen El objetivo del trabajo es incrementar el conocimiento sobre los Pleosporales, grupo de hongos poco conocido en el país. El material estudiado procede principalmente de un bosque mesófilo de montaña de la región central del estado de Veracruz. Se presenta el estudio taxonómico de 4 especies de ascomicetos: Fissuroma aggregata (I. Hino et Katum.) Phookamsak, J.K. Liu, E.B.G. Jones et K.D. Hyde, Immotthia atrograna (Cooke et Ellis) M.E. Barr, Xenolophium applanatum (Petch) Huhndorf y X. guianense Huhndorf, pertenecientes a los géneros Fisuroma, Immotthia y Xenolophium (Dothideomycetes, Pleosporales); los géneros y especies considerados son nuevos registros para México. Se incluyen las descripciones e ilustraciones de las características macro y micromorfológicas de los taxa estudiados.

Registros nuevos de Orchidaceae para Veracruz, México

Se registran como novedades para la flora de Veracruz 7 especies de orquídeas a partir de material recolectado en el estado durante los últimos 3 años, principalmente en fragmentos conservados de bosque mesófilo de montaña. Estas especies son Anathallis abbreviata, Galeoglossum tubulosum, Homalopetalum pumilum, Leochilus johnstonii, Lepanthes totontepecensis, Mormolyca moralesii y Ponthieva mexicana.

Pambolus oblongispina, primer registro para México

Braconidae is one of the insect families with more diversity in the world. Pambolinae is one of the most distinctive subfamilies because the spines present on the propodeum. In this note, Pambolus oblongispina Papp is a new record for Mexico, collected in the State of Tamaulipas. This species was previously known only from Honduras.

Agathidinae de México, incluyendo nuevos registros

Agathidines form a group of parasitoid wasps attacking larvae of Lepidoptera. Some Species of this subfamily have been used successfully in biological control of agricultural pests. The objective of this work is to provide a current list of the species of Agathidinae from Mexico, and to report new records for the country and some states. Four academic stays in California, United States were carried out in order to study Mexican material. Moreover, material deposited in the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) and Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) was also considered for this work. Additionally, the literature that included at least one species in the country was reviewed. Two species, Agathis gibbosa (Say) and Pneumagathis spiracularis (Muesebeck) are recorded from Mexico for the first time. Until December 2015, 51 genera and 1 177 species were known in the world fauna, and 24 genera and 127 species occur in Mexico. Not all Agathidinae material deposited in several Mexican collections has been identified yet. Therefore, more genera and species of this subfamily are expected.

En un análisis de la distribución del género Micruroides de Sinaloa, México, se reportan nuevos registros estatales que aumentan la distribución conocida de esta especie. Nuevos registros de Poáceas para el Norte de México

New localities of geographic distribution for two grasses of Mexico are presented. Muhlenbergia filiculmis vasey, a species known only in the West of united states is registered for the first time in Mexico. so is the distribution of Distichlis eludens (soderstr. & h.f. decker) h.l. bell & Columbus, is expanded into a regional level, since it has been recently collected in Zacatecas, Mexico.
