The subject of our research is to explore the usefulness of mobile learning in the higher education system in the present scenario in west Bengal. The four purposes for which we have studied are-to know the usefulness of mobile learning in the higher education system in the present scenario, to find out the relationship between mobile learning and success rate in higher education at the present scenario, to find out students' attitudes towards mobile learning in higher education to identify factors that influence Mobile learning improvement at the higher education level. A survey research method was used for this study. A total of 145 students participated in the study using a structured online questionnaire containing 31 questions along with 5 point Likert scale. This study reveals that there are many benefits of mobile learning in the higher education system. While students benefit from mobile learning through the use of various educational apps, most of the students are satisfied with the usefulness of mobile learning. This study exhibit that most of the students think that mobile learning has a positive relationship with the success of higher education and mobile learning has a tremendous role in the success of higher education. This study reveals that all students have a positive attitude towards mobile learning in higher education and various factors such as costeffectiveness, time flexibility, develop plans in the learning process, improves communication process, easy to time management, remote access to the information, creates a good environment for group study etc insure the improvement of mobile learning in higher education.
