Development of fish production which considers one of the essential animal protein sources becomes crucial issue. The production of fish is still insufficient to meet the consumption needs, which increases the food gap of fish. This study is to determine the levels of technical efficiency on a sample of fish farms using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and to identify key production factors that differ efficiently and inefficiently. The mathematical analysis ismainly based on data obtained by means of a questionnaire applied to a random 30 fish farms in Damietta Governorate. DEA is used to generate technical efficiency scores under assumptions of both constant returns to scale(CRS) and variable returns to scale(VRS). Technical efficiency has an average of 0.94 under CRS showing a wasting in the inputs by 6%. Allocative efficiency is about 0.91 and 0.96 under CRS and VRS, respectively. Also, the results show that there is a wasting in used resources where the economic efficiency is represented about 0.85 and 0.90 under CRS and VRS, respectively. This indicates that an average of 15%-10% potential scope still exists for improving the actual marine fishery production in Damietta Governorate with the given inputs. The results indicate that it is necessary to reduce farming area, labor, and fuel by 1%,4%, and 4.09%, respectively, as compared to the current used inputs. And fingerlings of sea bream should be decreased by 14.50% but the mullet fish fingerlings need to be increased by 7% as compared to the exsiting used inputs. Main problems facing fish farmers are limited resources of feed and marketing. The study recommends improving technical efficeieny rationalising the use of resources especially the fingerling, labor, and fuel in fish production to achieve the economic efficiency, in order to eliminate the food gap of fish in Egypt.
الأبعاد الاقتصادية لنمط الحياة الإسلامي
Roa Iktissadia Review, 2020
Attention to the Islamic way of life as one of the sources of investment and development is one of the emerging issues in the field of Islamic economics, and in this context comes our study to examine how to activate the economic dimensions of the Islamic lifestyle in various fields, in order to reinforce the status of the Islamic economy and its role in supporting the sustainable development of Islamic countries economies, in the context of the characteristics of the Islamic economy and the purposes of Sharia, and in light of the pioneering experiences of some Islamic countries, where investment in the Islamic lifestyle has made a clear contribution to support economic activity and increase income and achieve the Usually well-being of the members of the community.

the environment and the economy are of the most important Topics of sustainability and have the most important effect on the design overall. The light metal building is targeting alot of functions in the industrial field such as finding a suitable enterior environment for the users. according to their specific industrial field. and due to rarity in environmental efficiency studies and economic studies specialized in applying the sustainability in the metal buildings which is specialized in the industrial field, and as the evaluation is a backup operation for the design in taking the decisions of designing and how far these decisions are good. at this point the importance of guessing the environmental efficincy considerations appears and the economical considerations too for the light metal building in the industrial field in appling the sustainability in this kind of buildings, through main axis such as (the first axis the economical and environmental efficiency for the light metal building according to the definition of sustainability, the second axis the pillars of the economicaland environmental efficiency according to the aims of the sustainable design of the light metal building in the industrial field, the third axis the economical and environmental proficiency control systems for the lightweight metal building), and the study ends with that the design of the light metal building in the industrial field is better to be according to models for working including satisfying the functions of the building which is not obstructing achieving the environmental balance, Regulate the environmental effect which is resulting in the opperarions of the building taking into account the value of the light metal building to achieve the anviromental and economical efficiancy. and the study recommended making amonograph in different fields to creat an Egyptian code related to the sustainability and achieving its aims and principles for the industrial buildings generally and special for light metal buildings. and also recommends supporting the studies which is related to economical and environmental proficiency control systems for light metal building in industrial field which is supporting innovation.
Clues and Hints about the Yemeni Agriculture and History Sources for Its Study
Jordan Journal For History and Archaeology, 2010
The study aims to analyze the various aspects of the agricultural thought in Yemen and its roots from the pre-islamic era till the thirteenth century (AH) \ the nineteenth century (AD), depending on some clues spread in several sources such as: the archaeological remains especially the ancient inscriptions revealed and the archaeological buildings, historical and geographical sources, and the linguistic references including the specialized glossaries dealing with the Yemeni agriculture. Furthermore, the study points out the main water resources in Yemen particularly the rain, and the way that Yemeni used to benefit from it through the dams construction and digging canals and building of reservoirs, in addition to the springs and wells. Moreover, it points out the various crops in Yemen, mentioning the places of planting of each kind of them, and highlighting the several pests that infect them, the ways followed by Yemeni to keep their crops, and the methods used in the irrigation process and agriculture. In addition, the study includes a list of what Murtaza al-Zabidi mentioned in his book “Tajj al-Araus” about: the different idioms used by Yemeni to name the plants and fruits, agriculture and tillage tools. The study based on Al-Zubaidi works for two reasons: on one hand, he visited Yemen and lived there for a period of time, and on the other hand he is the most recent one respecting to his fellows and this enabled him to gather what was written by others. Finally, the study tried to point out the most important Yemeni sources in the agriculture where most of them are still unpublished manuscripts. It has mentioned these sources and where they can be reached.
