Culegerea de articole reprezintă materialele celei de-a 2-a ediții a Conferinței Internaționale "Lectura ca bază pentru cultură, cunoaștere și dezvoltare", organizată de Biblioteca Națională a Republicii Moldova în septembrie 2020. Temele abordate de către autori sunt de ordin teoretic cât și practic. Volumul al II lea reprezintă diferite abordări ale fenomenului lecturii.

Background. The scientific research resulted in the discovery of some reality representations, disseminated at the society level through publications. The dissemination of knowledge about nutrition is an excellent way of educating the population. Objective of the study. To analyze the dissemination of scientific research on the topic "Nutrition". Material and Methods. There were analyzed 35 scientific articles on the topic "Nutrition" published in the Republic of Moldova, between 01.01.2014 and 31.12.2016. Object of study: scientific articles. Work tool: 29 question-grid of content analysis of scientific articles. Results. Of the 35 articles, in 8 articles the topic "Nutrition" had the main significance, in 5 articles -secondary connotation and in 22 articles – tangential. Colită Ischemică. Prezentare De Caz
Background. Ischemic colitis is very rare in our country; there are difficulties in diagnosis and surgical treatment, and the late diagnosis in advanced cases causes a high rate of fatalities. Case. A 73-year old woman was presented with melena, diffuse abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Laboratory evaluation revealed a WBC of 20,900/mm 3 , blood glucose level of 194 mg/dl, without other abnormalities. Plain abdominal radiography and abdominal ultrasound were normal. Emergency exploratory laparotomy revealed a rubbery hard colon, without the normal aspect of haustrations, feeling like a parenchimatous organ, from the left colic angle to the recto-sigmoid junction. The dissection of the origin of the inferior mesenteric artery proved its complete thrombosis. We performed a left colectomy with terminal colostomy on the transverse colon. Postoperative course was uneventful. Nine months after the first operation, we restored the continuity of the digestive tract by a colo-rectal anastomosis, without any problems.
