Transport through side-coupled double quantum dots: From weak to strong interdot coupling (original) (raw)

This study presents low-temperature transport measurements on a double quantum dot device, revealing a transition from weak to strong interdot coupling. The complex charge stability diagrams indicate that while weak coupling is effectively described by single-level models, stronger coupling necessitates multi-level considerations. Notably, the system exhibits localized states in both weak and strong coupling regimes, with a notable change in behavior during intermediate coupling where the wavefunctions distribute across both dots.
