Principal’s Strategy in Implementing Organizational Communication at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

The communication strategy is the main capital for the head of the madrasa in forming a conducive learning climate in the madrasa. This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in implementing organizational communication at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Kesuma LKMD, Namorambe District. The problem of the quality of education personnel in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jambi Province is still found and has implications for effective madrasas that do not meet the standards. The purpose of this study is to analyze organizational communication in realizing an effective madrasa in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Jambi Province. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. Trustworthiness with techniques of extension of participation, thoroughness of observation, triangulation of data and consultation of promoters. The result of this research is that the organizational communication of MAN in Jambi Province has not run optimally because it has not found the ideal format. The MAN program in Jambi Province which is related to education personnel is very dependent on the character of the leadership, not on the management standards set by the government. As a result, the quality of education personnel in working in each madrasa is different and cannot reach the same standard, even though the policies in the government are the same or uniform. The conclusion of the study is that organizational communication in realizing effective madrasas in Jambi Province has not run optimally because the culture and communication climate are not healthy and can foster enthusiasm for measurable changes.

The research aims at finding the communication climate of an organization in the Department of Infrastructures and Facilities of Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta. A pleasant communication climate of an organization is significant. A communication climate of an organization that works well will help it to achieve credibility and development. Communication climate, atmosphere, and environment, in one organization, are different from another. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research explains various qualitative data with a careful and meaningful description analysis. This research shows that organizations' communication climate in the Department of Infrastructures and Facilities is supported by social climate. Although in the case of communication, there is still room for improvement. Since the lack of communication, some information might not access by all of the group members. The Organizational Communication Process in Schools

This study examined the perceptions of teachers on the effectiveness of organizational communication in their schools and whether the perceptions differed between teachers in primary and junior high schools as a function of gender, age, marital status, seniority, and rank. Data were collected from a sample of 334 teachers in 63 schools, working in primary and junior high schools in the centre of Afyon and Usak in Turkey during the fall and spring semesters of 2002-2003. A questionnaire developed by Gürgen (1997) was used in data collection, after minor modifications for teachers working in compulsory schools. Data were analyzed by percentages, means, t-tests for equality of means, analysis of variance, and Chi-square tests. Results showed that teachers scored high in the effectiveness of organizational communication, in general. Additionally, there was not a significant difference in teachers’ perceptions between primary and junior high schools as a function of gender, marital status, or seniority. However, older teachers scored higher than the young in the effectiveness of organizational communication. Furthermore, teachers with less educational attainment (i.e., undergraduate or graduate education of two-year-college) scored lower than those with more educational attainment (i.e., graduate of a fouryear college) in the effectiveness of organizational communication. Moreover, primary and junior high school teachers indicated that they were informed about what to do at work by their principals. They were informed orally (65%), meetings and workshops (27 %), or in formal writing (8 %). Finally, suggestions as to what should be done to reach effective organizational communication in schools, help younger teachers use effective organizational communication skills, and increase the communication channels by principals and teachers were suggested.

Organizational Communication among Language Teachers: A Mixed Method Study

The study aimed to describe the lived experiences and the level of organizational communication among language teachers in a public schools within the division of Davao del Norte. This study engaged a mixed-method design. The participants of the study were language teachers in public schools within the division of Davao del Norte. There were 61 language teachers who were descriptively selected for the quantitative and 10 for the qualitative: ten (10) for in-depth interviews, which were purposefully selected. In the quantitative phase, the results revealed organizational communication among language teachers in (3) indicators; task-oriented communication, informative communication, and pedagogical Kknowledge competence was rated as very high. This implies that language teachers were highly manifested the communication happens within their organization. In the qualitative phase, the study examines language teachers' experiences and insights on organizational communication. The results emphasizing open communication, innovation, effective information management, and nurturing relationships for continuous improvement. Thematic analysis confirms quanlitative findings, providing a holistic view of language teaching dynamics. Both quantitative and qualitative data reveal the different nature of communication, with both positive and negative impacts based on attitudes and practices.
