Genetic information as part of the “Great Chain of Being”
The article investigates discourse traditions of key-metaphors in popular accounts of genetics, such as those of genes or cells as selfish replicators, or of selection as a self-propelling agent or prime mover of evolution. Such agentive metaphors recall folk theories of heredity in terms of blood relations and blood lineage, which informed racist Nazi ideology in the 20th century but which can be traced back further to the theory of blood as one of the four “humours” in pre-modern thought. It is argued that, like the “blood myth” of heredity, the agentive metaphors of modern popular genetics have their origins in the ancient theory tradition of the “Great Chain of Being”, which helped to shape Western philosophy and which has been found by cognitive researchers to be still present today in the form of idioms and public language use.
The Establishing Manifesto of Eleogenetics
The term “Eleogenetics” derives from the union of two ancient Greek words: “eleos”, that means “mercy”, and “genesis”, that means “origin” and “development”. Thus, “Eleogenetics” consists in the study of the processes of creating and facilitating the emergence, or better, the “epiphany” of Mercy2. The word “epiphany” too derives from the ancient Greek and means “manifestation”. Something similar has been described in the modern language of Systems Theory with the term “emergence”, but when we focus on human communities and societies, and even on the behavior of individuals, “epiphany” may be more fitting in order to describe an “emergence” with adequate emphasis on the aesthetical, transcendent and ethical aspects that are required.
A Crisis and an Opportunity Facing Genetics
International Journal of Cell Science and Molecular Biology, 2019
There are a number of unusual behavioral tendencies amongst humans which appear to challenge the plausibility of a DNA basis. Some of these behaviors show up in the intellectual realm; others show up in the realm of gender orientations; and still others show up in the form of apparent paranormal abilities. Together these challenges - two from the accepted literature and the other from the paranormal literature - will be touched on here. The associated challenges form a concise statement of the excessive expectations placed on DNA. These challenges resonate with the missing heritability crisis and also an associated opportunity to appreciate life’s mysteries.

YEEMEN-SANA' A. The Mother of the World and the Genome: A Journey into the Depths of History and Identity" "The Mother of the World and the Genome: A Journey into the Depths of History and Identity" Have you ever wondered how in the distant depths of Egypt, you can find a woman with dark skin and blonde hair? Or perhaps a citizen with wheat-colored skin, blue eyes, and African hair? What about a woman with fair skin, smooth hair, but narrow eyes, as if she' s from the farthest corners of the East? This genetic richness and diversity manifests itself in contrasting faces that are difficult to explain, revealing the beauty of differences and the allure of mystery, displaying unique features among the historical intricacies in which they originated.
PASSIONARITY" AS A GENETIC ENGINEERING OF NATURE, RESPONSIBLE FOR HUMAN EVOLUTION
ASTRA Salvensis, Supplement, 2019
Genetic engineering is a relatively young science whose foundations were laid in the second half of the twentieth century. To date, genetic engineering is on the path of changing the body by introducing into the cell new, specific, genes that change the human genotype, which is actually an attempt to take on the function of the creator. But science so far does not have an exact idea of the mechanism of human natural evolution. The statement of more than five hundred well-known American scientists from various fields of science, about distrust of Darwin's theory, indicates that modern science does not agree with the proposed mechanism of evolution. Therefore, finding the mechanism of evolution is one of the interesting and important tasks facing science. The paper analyzes the possible evolutionary mechanism of a person on the basis of the concept of “passionarity”, that is, the change of a person under the influence of the “external” energy proposed in the theory of L.N. Gumilyov. The study found that L.N. Gumilyov did not analyze the changes in individual people, including the biblical prophets, who "received" new abilities in the mountainous areas, and therefore he did not consider the energy of the earth as the main source of "passionarity". Repeated analysis of this hypothesis together with the hypothesis about the energy of the Earth’s core entering the earth’s surface, along waveguides and faults, shows that there is a high probability of the influence of Earth’s energy on the “drive lines” corresponding to the places of development of ancient states. An analysis of the construction sites of religious objects showed that these objects are natural energy accumulators and their location is not accidental. The building material, the shape of the structure contributes to the accumulation of energy. Subsequent analysis revealed that these energy objects have properties to influence the human brain. A change in brain activity leads to a change in the “passionarity” of a person, a group of people, that is, a defining surrounding reality changes the human consciousness, which accordingly leads to a change in the goals and desires of the person.
