Structural Engineering in Natural Hazards Mitigation, 1993

Abstract

An experimental and analytical study of six graphite composite beams are presented. Four of the beams incorporated a reinforced concrete slab. The composite action and the effect of concrete strength were studied. The results showed that it may be feasible to use this type of beams in bridge engineering.
