Abstract
The Arevalo castle is a medieval fortress located in the region of La Morana (Avila, Spain), which was recently restored. The archeological excavations carried out in 2007 were very successful, since a big part of the artillery defence, the defensive moat, and a bastion from the beginning of S. XVI, precursor of the fortified bastion, were discovered and documented. In this article you may read about the main characterictics of this castle throughout its history
