SA@ETAK Rast i razvoj sadnica pinije (Pinus pinea L.) koje su se uzgajale u razli~itim kontejnerima, pratio se tijekom dviju godina uzgoja u rasadnicima «Slavinj» u Omi{u i «[ubi}evac» u [ibeniku, s ciljem utvr|ivanja u~inka istra`ivanih kontejnera na razvijenost biljaka pinije. Kori{tena su tri tipa kontejnera: Bosnaplast 12, Bosnaplast 18 i PVC tuljak 7/24, koji su napunjeni standardnom mje{avinom treseta i zemlje u omjeru 2:1. Sjetva u kontejnerima je obavljena 11. travnja 2002. godine. Nakon nicanja biljaka, obavljene su izmjere i analize jednogodi{njih i dvogodi{njih biljaka u rasadniku. Izmjere su obavljene sukcesivno svaka dva mjeseca u 3, odnosno 6 navrata. Varijable koje su prou~avane u rasadniku i laboratoriju bile su visina stabljike, promjer vrata korjena, te`ina lista (iglica), te`ina korjena, ukupna du`ina korjena, prosje~ni promjer korjena, te`ina stabljike, ukupna te`ina biljke, odnos te`ine stabljike i korjena. Volumen kontejnera pozitivno je utjecao na morfologiju jed-nogodi{njih i dvogodi{njih biljaka u rasadniku. Najve}e i najkvalitetnije biljke proizvedene su u PVC tuljcima, kontejnerima volumena 923cm 3 i s odnosom visine i promjera 3:4; zatim u kontejnerima Bosnaplast 18, volumena 220cm 3 te najmanje u kontejnerima Bosnaplast 12, volumena 120cm 3. Istra`ivanjima je utvr|en i razli~iti stupanj deformacije korjenovog sustava glede tipa kontejnera i du`ine uzgoja. U Bosnaplastu 12 i 18 deformacija korjenovog sustava zapo~inje sredinom prve vegetacije, po~etkom kolovoza, a u polietilenskim tuljcima nakon jedne vegetacije primije}eno je spiraliranje korjenovog sustava.
Rasadnička proizvodnja šumskih voćkarica u rasadnicima Hrvatskih šuma d.o.o

U članku se definira pojam šumskih voćkarica ili šumskoga voća koji je godinama prisutan u hrvatskom šumarstvu i navedeni pojam se uspoređuje s ostalim pojmovima koji nisu istoznačnice, a odnose se na šumsko drveće, grmlje i prizemno rašće jestivih i ljekovitih plodova, samonikle voćke i domesticirane voćke. Za svaki pojam navode se tipični predstavnici vrsta. Prikazana je proizvodnja po vrstama drveća u rasadnicima Hrvatskih šuma d.o.o. u 2019./2020. godini prema upravama šuma podružnicama (UŠP), organizacijskim jedinicama i rasadnicima. Što se tiče proizvodnje šumskih voćkarica, drveća jestivih i ljekovitih plodova, samoniklog voća i domesticiranih voćki ista je prisutna u samo tri rasadnika Hrvatskih šuma d.o.o. (Zelendvor, Oštarije i Lukavec). U navedena tri rasadnika ukupno se proizvodi (2019./2020.) svega četiri vrste iz navedene četiri kategorije: oskoruša, divlja trešnja, pitomi kesten i crni orah. Background and Purpose: Morphological features of one year old holm oak (Quercus ilex) seedlings grown in different types of containers were analyzed in order to establish the effect of container type on seedlings' development. The survival rates and the development of the seedlings were measured and monitored in the period of six years, on an experimental plot with the aim to assess the influence of container size and soil preparation on afforestation success in Mediterranean karst area. Materials and Methods: Four types of containers were used: MP 53/12 , MP 33/18 , T 7/24 and T 8/24. Morphological features of seedlings include: height, root collar diameter, biomass of the aboveground part, root biomass and total biomass. Two morphological indexes were calculated from the measured variables: S:R ratio and DQI. Morphological dimensions of root systems are, namely: total length, the number of tips, surface area and volume. Seedlings were arranged over the area of the experimental plot according to the randomized block method. Within each block (0,2 ha) two types of soil preparation prior to planting were performed: in pits with dimensions of 40 × 40 × 40 cm, and on the ripping ground. Each year during the experiment, seedlings were measured for height increment and survival rates (e.g. mortality), with respect to the container type and the planting method. Results: Almost all morphological features of seedlings have significantly higher values in larger containers (T 7/24 and T 8/24) compared to smaller containers (MP 53/12 and MP 33/18). Survival rates over six years in field experiment are influenced mainly by container size in interaction with soil preparation method (exp (b) = 6.5789; p < 0.0001). The container size exhibited influence on height increment of holm oak during first six years (F = 20.619, p = 0.000012). Conclusions: Soil preparation by ripping combined with high-quality seedlings played the most important role in the holm oak's survival in the research area.
Rast sadnica hrasta lužnjaka pri onećišenju tla mineralnim i biorazgradivim uljima

The purpose of this study is to research the effects of different concentrations of mineral and biodegradable oils for chainsaws on seedling growth of pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.) during two-year vegetation period. The paper also examines the influence of the above mentioned oils and their concentrations on the development of the seedling root system at the end of the second vegetation. Tests were carried out in forest nurseries on seven 1 m2 plots. Three plots were treated, after the planting of the pedunculate oak acorns, with biodegradable oil in the concentrations of 0.1 L/m2, 0.2 L/m2, and 0.5 L/m2. The other three plots were treated with mineral oil of the same concentrations. The control plot received only seed sowing.
