A RELAÇÃO DAS MULHERES COM O MEIO AMBIENTE: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DAS MULHERES CAIÇARAS DE ILHABELA (original) (raw)
The present work aims to study the relationship between women and the environment, through the study of ecofeminism and traditional communities, focusing on caiçara communities. Although the study is focused on women, it will be addressed questions about the relationship of other social minorities, which are part of the struggle guided by women. In addition to studying texts and documents, taken from books and the internet, some interviews were carried out with caiçara women from the municipality and archipelago of Ilhabela, located on the North Coast of the State of São Paulo. The aim is to observe how presents the relationship between caiçaras and the environment, within a traditional society and patriarchal, and compare with studies on ecofeminism and ecology. In view of this, they were interviews were carried out with women from different communities in Ilhabela, to compare with the information obtained in the bibliographic references used in the development of the work.
