The objectives of this research were to examine the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation toward firm performance. The populations of this study were small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Demak regency. The sample were the furniture industry SMEs. This is a survey type of questionnaire based research. Sample size of the study is 86 and the data collection technique with purposive sampling. The data analysis used was PLS (Partial least Square). Small and medium business in Indonesia has different characteristics with other countries. This research aims to analyze the influence between the orientation of the market and the business performance of small and medium enterprises. Entrepreneurial orientation variables used as the antecedent of market orientation and business performance as of the variable consequences. Design research using the survey sample and FGD with owners of small and medium enterprises as the respondent. By using SEM analysis found that entrepreneurial orientation effect directly against the performance of the business, but the orientation of the market does not have significant influence on performance of the business.

In this study, we examine the effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation on the performance of SMEs by using the mediating impact of Market Orientation. We used respondents from four regions in the West Java Province of Indonesia. After the questionnaires were distributed using the purposive sampling method, a total of 188 respondents were obtained. The analytical technique used in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). From the results of the study, it was found that orientations can affect the performance of SMEs. Entrepreneurship Orientation and Market Orientation can affect the performance of SMEs. From testing the mediating effect, it is found that Market Orientation can mediate the relationship between Entrepreneurial Orientation and the performance of SMEs. The research results can provide information for entrepreneurs who want to explore Entrepreneurial Orientation and Market Orientation.

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, innovation, and competitive advantage on MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) business performance. Design/methodology/approach: This type of research is quantitative with a case study research design. The implementation of the research was carried out in Indonesia, especially in Lamongan district, East Java, Indonesia. The research subjects were MSMEs owners/managers with a total sample of 302 using SPSS-AMOS 22 SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis. Findings: The results of this study indicate that there is an significant influence of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, competitive advantage on business performance, while innovation has no significant influence on MSMEs business performance. This paper examines the relationships between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and firm performance. There has been relatively little research that examines the relationship between strategic orientations, such as entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation and their consequences on firm performance in developing countries. This paper represents an attempt to do so from the Malaysian perspectives. A response from sample of 386 management of SMEs in Malaysia which were obtained by mail survey are tested on their Hypothesized relationship using SEM analysis method with SEM AMOS 18 and SPSS 17 applications. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on business performance through competitive advantage at the center of bag craftsmen. This research is a quantitative study using accidental sampling with primary data by distributing questionnaires to the center for bag craftsmen in Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo. The samples in this study used 110. The data analysis method uses PLS. The result showed that entrepreneurial orientation had a significant positive effect on competitive advantage, market orientation has positif not significant on competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive effect on business performance, market orientation has a significant positive effect on business performance, competitive advantage has a positive effect on business performance.

The purpose of this research is to see how the SME Orientation Strategy is implemented in West Sumatra. The strategy uses two parameters, namely entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of organizational learning and entrepreneurship orientation on SME business performance in Minneapolitan area South Sulawesi. This research is a survey research using quantitative approach with sample of 150 SMEs in 5 regencies and cities in Minneapolitan area in South Sulawesi. Data collection using questionnaires as a means of collecting data and conducting direct interviews and library searching. The results of data analysis found that organizational learning and entrepreneurial orientation did not directly affect the performance of SMEs in the Minnepolitan area but indirectly influenced by market orientation variables.
